This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick, Lead Pastor/Apostle of 5F Church, in Los Angeles on April 5, 2026. To watch the full video, scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.

On this day, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We celebrate that the power of God defeated the devil once and for all. When Jesus rose from the grave, it was finished. The sacrifice He made on that cross took away all of the power of sin that was on humanity. He took it for us. From that moment, we were no longer bound by sin. We could be free from sin, from death, and from the power of the devil when we would come to Jesus and give our lives to Him. This is the victory of all victories! From that moment, we have been given overwhelming victory through Christ.

Jesus gives us victory over the devil every single day. We have a life full of joy because we always have victory. There’s no need to fear or worry because the devil has been defeated. He’s not scary. He’s never going to come back and have this even fight with God in our lives.  No! He’s defeated once and for all! So now, every day, we live in overwhelming victory, in the knowledge, revelation, assurance, and confidence that we have overwhelming victory through Christ. A lot of Christians don’t have this revelation. Many don’t know this great victory that Jesus has given us because they have not encountered God’s power.

We need God’s power to walk in this victory. It was God’s power that was needed to raise Jesus from the dead. It didn’t happen just in any way, randomly or coincidentally, but it happened by God’s power. And that same power is moving upon the earth today through us. A lot of believers are not walking in this power because God has order and principles—He has a system through which He releases His power.

I was a Christian my whole life. At age four, which is my earliest memory, I gave my life to Jesus. But it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I first saw that God moves in power today. I saw that God heals, delivers, baptizes in the Holy Spirit, and speaks through prophetic words. I experienced God speaking to me personally for the first time through my spiritual father, Prophet Dr. GeorDavie. And I received God’s power through a vessel. I said, “Yes, Lord! I receive you. I receive your power. I receive your power coming through a vessel. I don’t despise it because it’s not what I expected or because it’s not coming straight from the sky, but rather through a vessel. I embrace it and I say, Yes and Amen. Have your way. I want your power. I want you to have your way.” Glory to God.

From that moment, I experienced abundant life and victory over the devil like I have never known in my life. From that moment, my purpose was revealed to me and I received impartation of anointing. I could now walk in my calling on this earth and be full of so much joy to walk in my calling and to be able to be in God’s will and to be free from religion and to have real intimacy with Jesus.

A lot of believers are not experiencing this victory because they haven’t experienced or embraced God’s power. But you have, and if you haven’t, I believe you will today. For those who have embraced His power, who have received His power in their lives and who have received His principles of how to walk in victory over the devil, you have total overwhelming victory over the devil. This is your reality. Every day you have this overwhelming victory, no matter what.

Matthew 27:46

About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

Jesus spoke this when He was on the cross, right before He died for our sins. And shortly after, on the third day, He rose from the grave. He spoke these words in a moment of suffering, and as He spoke these words, it reveals to us how He was 100% God and also 100% man. It reveals to us how He went through the temptations that we go through. He went through the human feelings as we do. He went through suffering and hardship, as we do. And there are times in our lives as believers that we go through valleys, through hardships and persecution and attacks of the devil. And in these times, the feelings usually don’t feel so good. It can sometimes feel like, “Where is God? Why is He allowing this to happen? I don’t feel Him. Is He proud of me? Because I don’t feel like He is. Where are the open doors? Aren’t they deserved yet, after this waiting? Where are the promises fulfilled?” There can be this feeling of, “Why have you forsaken me, God?”

But God allows us to go through these times of testing for our good. He sometimes allows us to go through these times of hardship when we don’t feel Him close. It doesn’t mean that He’s not there, close to us, but sometimes we don’t feel Him close or it can be harder to feel His love. He allows us to experience this because that is the refining fire that molds us to be more like Him. That is the refining fire that stretches our faith to become bigger and that molds us to be more patient and to trust Him more.

Every time we experience this, we have a choice to make: “Will I trust God or not? Will I obey God or not? I feel it’s hard to obey and it’s hard to trust, but I know God is asking me to obey Him and trust Him and keep my faith in Him. And I know God is calling me to be humble, even though it’s hard.” Every time you choose to obey, to surrender, to trust, and to humble yourself, you transform! Your faith becomes bigger than it was before that trial. Your humility becomes deeper than it was before that trial. Your surrender becomes bigger than it was before that trial. Every time!

We see throughout the Bible that there were heroes of the faith—amazing servants of God who were chosen by God—and time after time, they went through trials. They all went through testing and hardships, and sometimes suffering. And all of them experienced these feelings of, “Where is God?” They went through these seasons and testings where they felt, “I don’t understand. I thought I was chosen. I thought God loved me, but it doesn’t feel like it. It doesn’t feel like I’m chosen. It doesn’t feel like I’m favored. It doesn’t feel like God really loves me.” They all went through these seasons and feelings.

We see that David also said, like Jesus, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” David was anointed by God, through Prophet Samuel. He was a chosen king, a chosen one of God, because he was a man after God’s heart. He touched God’s heart. God knew he would do all that God wanted, and He sent Samuel to anoint him as king when he was young. And God lifted him and gave him favor over Goliath. He lifts him in the sight of man, and people saw that God was with him, and they gave him favor. David had favor to be in the king's court, to serve King Saul. He played the harp for him, and God used David to cast demons out of Saul and to relieve Saul. So David experienced this favor of God and this lifting. And he saw the love of God through this favor. But then came another season, when Saul became very jealous and decided he wanted to kill David. That jealousy was so strong because he felt threatened by him. People were saying that David was more anointed and better than Saul, so Saul then began hunting him with his armies, attempting to kill him. And David ran for his life—he had to leave this blessed life and run and hide for his life. Not just for one day, which would have been a lot; not just two days or a week or a month. David was hiding for his life for eight to ten years. But God had given him this huge promise to become king and God had been showing him favor. So what happened?

Psalm 22:1

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer; by night, but I find no rest.

David experienced this feeling that maybe you have experienced before. But you know what? This was God’s goodness! It didn’t feel like it, but this was David’s refining fire, and as he passed this trial, he would be worthy of his calling. God could entrust him with the position to be anointed king. Through these trials, God was molding him and refining him to have this godly character, so that he could truly do God’s will when God put him in the high position, that would come with temptations.

Today when we read the Bible, we are encouraged by the story of David and by his example, because we all go through difficult things in life today. We see a real human being, just like you and me, who was believing in the promises of God, even when he was in the valley of the shadow of death. He kept believing; he didn’t give up on God; he didn’t give up on the promises; he didn’t run from God. He stayed loyal to God; he kept his faith in God; and he kept his humility.

He had these strong feelings, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” But then we see in the very next psalm:

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

When you think about how David has blessed us today—we are singing songs of his prayer to God. He chose to stand in faith, and he kept believing in God in the valley of the shadow of death. He chose to keep trusting God in that dark place. He was hunted by an army trying to kill him for eight to ten years. We’ve all been through hard things, but I think that might top it. But this is a real human being who loved God, like you and I love God. And he had the same feelings we have at times: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Even Jesus had those feelings! But David chose very quickly to renew his mind and speak to his soul. He even says in another psalm, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (Psalm 43:5). He said things like, “Take heart. Take courage.”

Our faith today is strengthened by the living Word of God. We read that Scripture today, and we sing this song, thousands of years later: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” We sing David’s words to encourage us. Isn’t it the goodness of God and the love of God for His people that He would allow David to endure that suffering? Just like it was the love of God for His people to allow His only Son, Jesus, to endure that suffering! The suffering that Jesus went through was God’s love for you! This was the only way salvation could come.

And this suffering that you go through—the valley that you go through—this is the only way God can use you to bless other people in a great way. This is the only way that He will be able to entrust you with anointing that actually has the power to heal and deliver people and touch people through you. You have to go through the valley. You have to go through the refining fire. It’s not forever; it’s temporary. But in the same way that God used David to greatly bless us, this is what God is still doing today though through our lives. How many people didn’t give up on God because they read Psalm 23? How many people didn’t turn away from God because they read that? How many people have come closer to God through that Scripture? There are some psalms that are being written today, through your life. You are speaking, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. The Lord is my Shepherd!” You are speaking this today. You are singing this today. And this is the goodness of God in your life—that He is allowing you to go through this, so you can speak these things. You can choose to speak these things, to keep trusting God, so that you can bless so many people in the future. Many people will be saved and will not turn from God and will be encouraged to keep the faith because of you, present-day David, present-day Job.

Job 1:6-7

One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”

These are the angels going to heaven, and Satan is allowed to go with them. This is an example of how we’re in a spiritual warfare today. We’re in a spiritual war. The devil is at work, and he’s allowed to attack sometimes because God allows it. But it’s a refining fire, and it’s for your good.

Job 1:7-12

The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”

Satan just appears and the Lord says, “Where have you come from?” “I’m wandering around the earth.” Job was not even brought up by Satan. God brought him up. God enticed the devil to test and tempt Job. You know, it was the Holy Spirit who led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted for 40 days. That was another kind of suffering and hardship, where He didn’t eat food for 40 days, and the devil was speaking to Him in the dry desert. But it was temporary; it was just for a season. And God orchestrated it for His good and for our good, so we can see his example of overcoming the devil and how to do it. How can we do it? By having the Word in our hearts, rejecting the devil, speaking the Word of God, and encouraging ourselves when we go through wildernesses, so we can know what’s going on. We don’t have to worry; we can know that the Holy Spirit is guiding this for our good. So it’s not the time to say, “Lord, why have you forsaken me?” It’s the goodness of God, the love of God, to lead you into the wilderness. When it’s your season to go in the wilderness, that’s the love and goodness of God. So when the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness, the Bible says that “the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil” (Matthew 4:1). We see the same principle with Job. God knew what He was doing. He wasn’t just randomly bringing up Job out of nowhere. He knew that the devil would want to test Job. And God wanted to lift Job and for him to be an example for us today, like David was, to encourage us. So God had decided, “This is the time that I lead my servant into the wilderness,” just as He did with David with Joseph, son of Jacob, and with Jesus. And so He brought up Job. But God knew Job’s heart, just like He knew David’s heart when He chose him. He said, “He’ll do whatever my will is.” God knew that when the testing time came, David wouldn’t forsake God. That’s how God saw Job. He saw Job’s heart. He knew that Job loved Him, not because of the blessings, but because he really had a pure heart after God’s. So God already knew that Job would have the victory, that the devil would be shamed and proven wrong. Because God goes by principle, and when you go through hard times, when you go through the testing, He brings reward. The lifting comes next. Because He tests you to see if you can handle more, and when you prove that you can handle more—that your heart is really after His, that you will do whatever His will is, even when He blesses you so much, that you won’t abuse the blessings, that you won’t abuse power—He lifts you. And the lifting is for His glory. The lifting is so you can shine brighter for Him. The lifting is so He can pour more anointing upon you to touch people more powerfully and to bring them into the Kingdom, so that they may find the love of Jesus through you.

So God allowed Satan to take many things—many, many things. He allowed him to take many blessings—pretty much all of them—from Job, except for his life. Imagine how Job would have felt. We see through the story of Job that he was feeling the same as David was feeling, the same as Jesus: “My God, why have you forsaken me? Where are you, God? What have I done? I thought I was obeying you. I thought I was pleasing you. I thought I was really serving you. Did I miss something?” These are the feelings he would have had. But all the while, it was because Job was such a great servant of God that He was going through this suffering for a time. Because God knew that He could trust him with this test. And that through this, just like David, it would teach us today that God always brings victory. That God allows us to go through testing sometimes, but it’s for our good. And so we can look at the story of Job, and we can be encouraged not to give up. Job didn’t speak against God. Now we can be taught and encouraged to not speak against God, to not disrespect God with our words in times of suffering and pain and hardship, but to trust Him instead and have confidence in His goodness and faithfulness.

Job 42:10-13

The Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him over all the [distressing] adversities that the Lord had brought on him. And each one gave him a piece of money, and each a ring of gold. And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. He had seven sons and three daughters.

The Lord restored the fortunes of Job. He restored the fortunes that the devil took and then the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. And then, the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning! But he was already the most blessed and favored person on the earth by God! But then God blessed him more! This is the goodness of God. If we didn’t have this story, we wouldn’t make it as far as Job did, right? We’d give up. But we read the story of Job, the living Word of God that gives us life, that gives us revelation today, that lifts our faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). You hear the Word of God today and now you are strengthened to keep persevering, to renew your mind: “This is the goodness of God that I’m going through this difficult time right now. This is the goodness of God and this is just temporary, just as it was in the times of Job and David and Joseph and Jesus, all of the servants of God. This is just temporary. This is just a test I have to pass and when I do, there’s great reward!”

When we look at the stories in the Bible of the servants of God, we see that God took them through a wilderness each time, through something hard. But on the other side, their life was so much more blessed than before, and God was able to use them so much more powerfully than before. They were actually able to walk in the fullness of their purpose then, where they weren’t before. God was able to use them so powerfully and bring so many souls to God. Imagine if we could be with the servants of God, if we could go back in time and we could cheer them on and encourage them. Imagine if we could do that. What would you say to Job? What would you say to David? What would you say to Jesus? Even Jesus, when He was on the cross, when he was sweating blood, He was 100% man, so encouragement could have lifted Him, just as angels ministered to Him in the wilderness after He was tempted. What would you say to these servants of God? When they were in the wilderness, what would you say? You’d be excited and say, “Keep going! You know what’s ahead? Just keep going; you got this! You got this! Wait until you see what’s coming! I can’t tell you how worth it this is! I know it doesn't seem like it, but I can’t express to you how worth it this is, how worth it this suffering and this hardship is! How worth it it is to go in the wilderness and deal with the devil yapping at you, and having to fight the good fight of faith and rejecting him. I can’t tell you how worth it is because of what’s coming in your life—what’s coming to bless millions, billions of people in this world!”

Would that not be us? Would that be you? Is that how you would speak to Job? Well, this is what you need to speak to yourself today. This is what you need to speak to yourself today. This is what we need. We need to encourage ourselves with the Word of God because this is the same today. If you are truly choosing to serve God, then you are like Job. You are like David. You are not different. You are God's beloved. You are God’s chosen. He has made you promises, and they are yes and amen. And you will go through testing. But you will overcome and you will be more blessed in your latter days than the former. And there will be so much reward, not just in heaven, but here on earth. I’ve told you this before, but we need to renew our minds a lot with this. This truth: that to be in the wilderness, to go through hardship, is the goodness of God. You need to stop condemning yourself. Remember those thoughts that are coming out of nowhere, they're not yours; they’re the devil! It’s the devil speaking just like he spoke to Jesus in the wilderness. Would you condemn Jesus for hearing those voices of the devil in the wilderness? No! Because they’re not Jesus’ thoughts. It’s the devil speaking to Him. So why are you condemning yourself with thoughts that you don’t want to have? You’re in a testing right now. God is cheering you on, just like you would cheer on Job. Job was feeling, “God, where are you?” David was feeling, “Where are you?” Job was feeling, “Have I done something wrong? What’s going on?” But you would be cheering them on. This is happening to you because God is so proud of you, and He can trust you with this. This is why this is happening. This is why: because you are a chosen one. God has such a big calling for your life. You have to go through more intense refining fire, like Job did, like Jesus did, like David did, like Joseph did. The reward is so great! Keep going!

Stop thinking, “Lord, have you forsaken me? Where are you? Why are you allowing this to happen?” Because some of you, you might have experienced blessings, so many blessings and favor, like David and Job did, and then boom! What happened? Now it feels like you’re on a treadmill. What happened? “Am I doing something wrong God? Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Now I’m condemning myself.” This is just the season of testing. Stop condemning yourself. God’s proud of you—that’s why you’re going through this. He’s proud of you! Like He was proud of Job and David and Jesus. He’s proud of you! And it’s temporary. You’re going to defeat the devil, you’re going to overcome, and you’re going to have victory. Because the Bible says, “God will never give you more than you can handle” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

2 Timothy 2:3

Take with me your share of hardship [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

We’re called to suffering. Sometimes that’s physical, sometimes that’s in your mind the devil’s yapping, for a season. Like Jesus in the wilderness having to listen to the devil. And you have to reject him and declare, “I’m victorious.” But that’s a kind of suffering. There are different kinds of suffering. Sometimes it’s waiting, sometimes it's injustice or persecution. Years pass and you don't see justice yet. Years pass, and you're still experiencing persecution. Still feeling like you’re going around in circles on a treadmill, sometimes that’s the suffering. We are all called to suffering. We’re all called to hardship. It’s not a time to think, “Where is God? It’s not a time to condemn yourself and question yourself and get insecure. This is our calling—not everyday; it's seasonal. But when it comes, we need to be okay with it and renew our minds to: “God is proud of me, and it’s an honor to suffer for Jesus.”

Philippians 1:29

For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ, but also the privilege of suffering for him. (That’s a privilege. God says it’s a privilege.) We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.

1 Peter 4:12

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you… (Not because you deserve it, and not for some random reason. You shouldn't be confused about what’s going on. No, there’s a purpose.) … as though something strange were happening to you. What’s going on? Where’s God? I thought He loved me? I thought He was blessing me. I was seeing all these blessings… What's going on now? Am I doing something wrong? Don’t be surprised. Don’t think this is strange. Don't go in the flesh or you will get off track. You will forget God’s love and His goodness. You will forget that this is part of His plan and you have to pass through this. So don’t be surprised.

1 Peter 4:13

But rejoice in as much as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

And this glory to be revealed is not just when you go to heaven. So many people read the Bible and when they see Scriptures like this, the glory of Christ being revealed, and they think we’re living hell on earth and will only experience God’s glory when we die. We’re experiencing heaven on earth, the anointing, the power of God! Jesus Christ is alive, here and now.

Job experienced suffering but then he experienced the glory of God, the favor of God upon His life, the blessings of God that were so much greater than before. David experienced suffering for the sake of God, but then he experienced reward and favor and blessings when he was put in the place of king, when the promise was fulfilled and he stepped into his promise. Jesus, after His suffering, rose from the grave, and now He is walking in victory over the devil every day. He is walking in victory through us. So many souls are coming into the kingdom every day. The glory of Jesus was revealed in His life as soon as He was resurrected.

Luke 24:1-8

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” Then they remembered his words.

There were prophecies upon prophecies that were fulfilled through Jesus. Not only that, but Jesus told them, “This is going to happen.” But they were still wondering, “What’s happening?” So it’s saying, “Remember the words He said.” And then they remembered the words.

It’s time for you to remember the words: these words I’m sharing with you; the words in the Bible; words that His promises are yes and amen. No matter what valley you’re in, His promises will be fulfilled. It’s time for you to remember His words. “There’s no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). When you’re in the valley, why are you condemning yourself? Why are you listening to those lies of the devil? Why are you partnering with them? Remember the words: we will go through suffering; we will go through trials—this is for our good. Remember the words. Remember the words so you can keep your joy, so you can stand strong, so you can keep seeing God’s love accurately, so you can keep having godly confidence. The devil will want to try to beat you down in those valley moments, in those times of testing. He will come with all sorts of accusations, all sorts of lies: “You’re in this valley because you’re not good enough. You’re in this valley because you don’t love God enough. You’re in this valley because you didn’t do this enough. Where’s God?The devil will come with all sorts of accusations. You have to remember the words: that it’s the love of God that led you into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, like Jesus.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is being perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, (meaning those who are rejecting God) we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this? You see we are not like the many hucksters who preach for personal profit. We preach the word of God with sincerity and with Christ’s authority, knowing that God is watching us.

1 Corinthians 15:54-58

Then when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” For sin is the sting that results in death and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

You have the victory. You’re in the wilderness? You have the victory. You will the see the victory. You‘re in the middle of an attack of the devil? You have the victory! Jesus has given you the victory. When he died on that cross and rose from the grave, He purchased an inheritance for you. An inheritance has now come into your life when you give your life to Jesus! This inheritance is abundant life. This inheritance is freedom from the devil’s grip, freedom from demonic oppression of all kinds. This is a free gift that Jesus gives. This isn’t something a human can give. This is not magic. This is not a healing power a human has, that I have; this is a free gift from Jesus Christ for every person who will give their lives to him. There is a way to access it. To access it, you need to receive the way he moves in power, to position yourself where God’s power is moving so that the anointing, the power of God can destroy the yokes. Then you will be accessing your inheritance as a child of God.

You’ll access abundant health, abundant freedom, abundant peace, abundant joy, abundance in every area including finances. It is God’s will for you to have abundance in every area. But the abundance doesn't come the second you give your life to Jesus. You may go through things like Job and like David, where you’re not seeing abundance in a lot of different areas, but you're seeing the abundance of the peace that Jesus brings as you have a relationship with Him, and the assurance of His promises and of His goodness and faithfulness.

You experience an abundance of peace because it’s a supernatural peace that God gives you because He lives inside of you when you put your eyes to him. A supernatural perfect peace comes into your life. We keep accessing more and more of His abundance, but it’s for those who are surrendered. This is where people get confused. People don’t like to hear that believers are called to prosper and have abundance because they think that God just gives abundance and blessings and money cheaply. He doesn’t give it cheaply—there's a big cost, and that’s true surrender. He won’t give you what He knows you will abuse. So this abundant life that God has for you is not for every Christian; it’s just for those who will give up their lives completely and pick up the cross.

Victory is yours, people of God! It is yours. In the Bible, we see victory after victory after victory. There is suffering for a time, but it passes, and then victory and abundance comes.

Job became way more blessed than before the victory came. David went on the throne and the promise was fulfilled. He saw the victory and abundance. The Israelites went through suffering, being slaves, for so many generations, but then the victory came—they were delivered and they stepped into the Promised Land. Victory, abundant life—this is all throughout the Bible. There was not a time when true children of God were defeated by the devil. Never.

Every time, they had victory. Every time, there was a promised land they stepped into. Every time, the abundant life of God was unleashed upon their lives, for the glory of God.

Luke 24:5-7

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee…

This is the life that we have in Christ. This is why we rejoice, on this precious day and every day, in the victory of Jesus Christ in our lives. Some of you forgot these truths, and it’s time right now, to remember. Just like when Jesus rose from the grave and God spoke through these angels, then they remembered His words.

Right now the word of God is coming forth to you. Remember these truths that you’ve already heard before, in the Word. You’ve already encouraged people with these words that I’m sharing, but you forgot them. You’ve been going through something and you forgot them. Now it’s time for you to remember these words. And this is an Easter Resurrection Sunday of great joy because when revelation is restored, joy is restored. When revelation of God’s love is revealed and restored, the joy comes so great. The more we see of God’s love and goodness, the more confident we will be in Him. The more at rest and at peace and full of joy we will be. So it’s time, people of God, to enter into that rest and that joy. Enter into that joy for the first time or return back to it if you forgot and lost it. You are victors. God is cheering you on, always. He’s proud of you. He loves you. And the promises, every one of them, will be fulfilled in your life. You have the victory, now and always!
