When God Arises

sermon spiritual equipping

This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick Lead Pastor/Apostle of 5F Church in Los Angeles, CA, on November 9, 2025. To watch the full video, scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.

God says to His people, the Israelites,

Deuteronomy 20:1

When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you. When you approach the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people, and shall say to them, “Hear, O Israel; you are advancing today to battle against your enemies. Do not lack courage. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble [in terror] before them, for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

It is time today for the revelation of how powerful, mighty, and victorious your God is to increase in you. It is time for your eyes to open up and see His mighty hand upon your life. When you are serving God, when you are doing the work of God, when you are doing what He has sent you to do, He will bring you victory. He will bring you victory all the time, no matter what.

God is at work on this earth. He did not just create us and put us on this earth for no reason. He has put you here for a purpose, for His purpose. That is why you are here. You are not here to just go about life and only just go to church, read the Bible, and pray. You are here for an assignment, an assignment given to you by God. And this assignment is to advance God’s work on this earth, to bring forth what He wants to take place on this earth: His kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven, to destroy the works of the devil, and to release abundant life—peace, joy, salvation, freedom, and healing to all people. This is what God is up to on this earth, and He has a way in which He brings heaven to earth, in which He brings equipping for believers, and in which He releases His power that brings freedom and healing—and that’s through His church.

You are the church; we are the church. The church are the believers who unite, gather together, do the work of God in one accord, and respect and honor God’s system of leadership that He has in the church. So when God is doing His work on the earth—when He is doing His business of destroying the works of the devil, of opening up eyes to His love so people may be saved, of bringing healing and freedom—He is doing it through the church. He is doing it through the believers, He is doing it through the leadership of the church as we unite together in one accord—respecting, honoring, and abiding by His principles and His ways.

So we are here on this earth on God’s team. He is the commander, He is our master, He is the captain, He is the king of our team. We are working for Him. He has given us all the power and protection needed to have victory. You need to understand that God wants you to have victory more than you do because God means serious business about His work—about bringing heaven to earth, about the salvation of souls, about destroying the works of the devil on this earth. He means serious business. He is not playing games, and His plans must go forth no matter what. They must!

You need to understand that God has a specific move and plan. He had this plan for the Israelites to be delivered out of Egypt, to no longer be bound in slavery. And He also had this plan that once they got out of bondage, they would possess the land He would give them and they would become leaders and examples for others, to draw others to God. He had a plan for them to have dominion on this earth. They could not do that as slaves in Egypt; He had to deliver them, and He had to give them the Promised Land. He had to make the walls of Jericho come down—He had to because it was His plan. It was His plan! It wasn’t just a matter of, “Oh I love them.” He does love us and He doesn’t want us to be in bondage anymore, yes, and He wants us to have abundant life, yes, but there’s a greater purpose even: it’s His plan.

It’s His plan for the salvation of souls. It’s His plan for you to have abundant life and be protected from the devil so that you can complete your assignment on this earth—so that the glory of God can shine so brightly through you, that others may see the light of Jesus in you and be drawn to Him. You’re not just here to have a nice, happy, abundant life. No, you are here for a great purpose: the salvation of souls, destroying the works of the devil. That’s why you’re here. And when you have revelation of this, you’ll be able to have more rest and peace, knowing that the victory has to come. There’s no question about it because it’s not just about you having abundant life, peace, and joy. No, there’s a greater purpose; this is God’s plan! This is how you will fulfill your assignment: when you have victory over the devil. You have to have victory over the devil!

God’s plan was for the Israelites to be freed out of slavery and come out of Egypt, and it had to happen. Pharaoh tried to stop it. He tried really hard to stop God’s plan, but he failed. It didn’t matter how much power and money he had. It didn’t matter the demonic powers he had from other gods; it could not compare to the power of God. So though it wasn’t immediate, the Israelites, in God’s perfect timing, saw the victory. They had the victory!

The sea was parted and their enemies were defeated, but that took place because it was God’s plan: it had to happen! That’s why it wasn’t about them wanting it so badly or praying and praying. Or that they were extra special and God loved them and decided to give them special favor that day because He loves them. It happened because it was God’s plan. And it was the same for Joshua: the walls of Jericho came down and they possessed the land. They had dominion over this land, and they kept having victory against army after army. Armies would come and try to fight them, but God kept giving Joshua and the Israelites victory. Why? Because it was God’s plan for heaven to come to earth, that the Israelites would have dominion and they would glorify God and draw others to come to God. They needed to have victory for God’s plan to come to pass.

And we keep seeing in the Bible, leader after leader, like David, Jehoshaphat—all these leaders who keep coming up against enemies. They come up against armies that are bigger than them in the physical realm, and God brings them victory every single time. It wasn’t because they did something special; it wasn’t because God was in a good mood. This was God’s plan.

The Israelites were God’s people. They were bringing heaven to earth, they were giving glory to God, they were going to lead others to Him, they were going to accomplish God’s plans. And so in order for that to happen, God had to give them victory. This is God’s battle, not ours. God had a plan for Jesus to be crucified, for the sacrifice to be made, and for Him to then be resurrected. And there were enemies that came up against Jesus but nothing, not even a crucifixion, could stop God’s plans for Jesus to save all who would come to Him. Nothing could stop Him from being raised from the grave—not even death.

God had plans for the apostles. He had plans for them to have church, to build the church, to minister to the people, to preach, to heal the sick, to cast out demons. He had that plan for them, because that is how the gospel would spread to the ends of the earth. That’s how people would hear the good news. That’s how people would encounter God’s love—through the demonstration of power, through healing and the deliverance that would happen as God moved through His vessels, the apostles. God had this plan to build His church in purity and power, and they had so many enemies trying to stop them, even throwing them into prison.

Paul and Silas were thrown into prison, people were trying to stop them from doing what God had called them to do, but what happened? As they worshipped God in the prison, in the midnight hour, an earthquake came so strongly that it broke open the prison doors. That was a divine act of God. They were set free! Not only that, but God used this to open up the eyes of the prison guards, and they came to Jesus, too. So nothing could stop them from spreading the good news and building the church because it was God’s plan.

That’s how it is in this revival that God has brought for the whole body of Christ. This revival that God has brought: this is God’s move; this is God’s plan. This is His plan right now, to transform the body of Christ, to restore purity in the body of Christ where it has been missing, to restore the fear of God, to restore the power of God—the anointing—that has been missing by and large in the church. This is God’s plan. It is God’s plan that transformation would come to so much of the body of Christ, for all who would choose to come to Him. It is His plan that there would be a drastic transformation in the body of Christ. It is God’s plan that this wouldn’t be happening in just one church, just for the two million or so people who are receiving and tuning in online, but that it would happen all over the world, that nothing would hold anyone back. It’s His plan that this revival would go on all sorts of different media, wherever it is needed for ears to hear this good news and to experience God’s power.

It’s God’s plan that this move of God would not be confined, that it would not be held back in any way. It is God’s plan for this word of God, the full gospel, to go to the ends of the earth, for everyone to hear this good news, and we are just in the beginning. It is God’s plan that this would continue to grow and grow, and go glory to glory, and reach more and more people ever day—that new doors would open up in the media for people to hear the good news and encounter His power. It’s His plan that every day we would go glory to glory, that every month and every year, this revival would grow. Because there are so many people, so many believers who are oppressed. There are many people who are bound right now, even though, glory to God, there are about two million followers or so on our social media platforms. But how many people are in the whole world? Billions. There are so many more people who have never heard this good news that Jesus is alive and moving in power today.

There are so many people who are still bound. There are so many believers who are still bound. So God has planned for this move of God to increase every day, every month, every year. This is God’s plan! It is bigger than me wanting it, you wanting it, all of us wanting it. It is so much bigger than that! God wants this more than all of us combined. God wants this revival to grow and many more people to be reached—way more! You only feel this way in your heart because God himself put that in your heart. You only feel this passion for more people to experience the power of God, to be saved, because that’s God’s heart that has come in you—just a sliver of God’s heart. God has this passion, this fierceness, like a lion, to defeat every enemy that would hold back this move of God—a billion times more than you do.

Psalm 68:1

Let God arise. Let His enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad and let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

Now we are in the new covenant. In the new covenant, Jesus has taught us this way, that we should love our enemies, that we should pray for those who persecute us, that we should bless them, that we should desire for them to come to Jesus rather than wanting to see them perish or be punished. So I am going to give you a little revelation of the new covenant of this Scripture. This revelation is that we do not want bad for our enemies. We want them to come to Jesus because He will save them, He will wipe away their past, and He will transform them when they turn to Him.

In the new covenant it is: let the wicked schemes perish. Let the schemes of the wicked be stopped! Let the strength of the wicked perish. Not that we want them to be hurt—it’s the evil they do that must be stopped. It must perish.

It says, “Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered.” When it’s God’s time to arise, when He has chosen to arise, it is like a blowout in a sports game. That is the victory that God has in store, when He chooses to arise.

In the Bible it says, “God has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). In HIS time. This means: it’s not every day that things look beautiful. It’s not every day that the will of God is fun. It’s not every day that the will of God is comfortable. It doesn’t always seem beautiful, though in the will of God is where you will find the most peace and joy and contentment. But when it’s time for God to arise, when it’s time for the promise to be fulfilled, when God says “Enough” to the devil—like enough with what he was taking from Job—or “This is enough refining fire!” or “This testing has accomplished its purpose to refine you!” then God arises.

You know the story of Joseph. Joseph was anointed by God, he was chosen by God. He had special favor upon his life, and God gave him a dream in which he saw his brothers bowing to him—not in worship, but in honor. That was a way that people gave honor back then, not worship, but honor. He told his brothers about this dream and his brothers were offended. They had so much pride. They were offended that he would be exalted above them, that God was giving him this higher calling than what they were called to. They were filled with jealousy, so they chose to throw him in a pit to die. Then they sold him to slavery. Once he was a slave in Egypt, a woman falsely accused him of trying to sleep with her, and this false accusation was believed. He was thrown into prison. This was the time in his life when God allowed these things to happen to refine him, to prepare him, to strengthen his faith. He allowed them to refine him so that he would be more humble, more trusting of God, and strong spiritually to persevere through all these things and keep believing that God would fulfill this promise that He gave him in that dream.

But then time passed. Years had passed, and it was time for this refining fire to be done. It was the time where God said, “Enough!” But before that, you could be thinking, “Why is God allowing him to be thrown in the pit? Where is the justice with this false accusation?” You could be thinking that, but God allows us to go through this refining fire for our good. It is not a sign of injustice; it’s not a sign that He isn’t there, that He’s not hearing our prayers. It’s a sign of needed refining fire. That’s it. It’s very simple, as long as you’re surrendered to God. There are many people who aren’t surrendered to God, and they’re getting themselves into trouble because they’re opening up doors to the enemy. God never wanted them to go through these things. But when you are surrendered to God, whenever you are going through hard things, you can simply know: “God is allowing this for a purpose. It is going to shape me, shape my character, strengthen my faith, and mold me to be the person that God has called meso that I can fulfill my assignment, so I can be a more powerful vessel of God, so that He can entrust me with more anointing, so that He can entrust me with more responsibility, so that my testimony becomes a bigger testimony that can help even more people, so people can see, ‘Wow, God came through for them, even when they were going through that? God came through and look at them now! Look how blessed they are. Look how favored they are. Look how they have a life I want. Now I’m OK with going through the refining fire, if it means I get to have this blessed life on the other side of it.’” Hallelujah!

Many people don’t see spiritually. They don’t see in that way. And they can be wondering, “Where is God? Where is God when you are thrown in the pit? Where is God with this injustice?”

HE IS THERE. He is allowing it for your good. You can trust Him. He knows what He is doing. This is temporary. It’s just a season. Just wait. Just wait on the Lord. Wait for His mighty hand to act. Wait for Him to arise, and you are going to watch your enemies be scattered.

With Joseph, one day, when it was God’s time, God made everything beautiful. It was revealed through people in the prison that he could interpret their dreams, so then all of a sudden the Pharaoh was in desperate need for somebody to interpret his dream. He couldn’t find anybody and one of the men that was in the prison told him about Joseph who could interpret dreams, that God was with him, that he was anointed. And that anointing could be seen by Pharaoh, even though Joseph was in the prison. God was starting to arise in Joseph’s life. So Pharaoh brought him out of the prison and Joseph interpreted the dream. That showed Pharaoh that God was with him! It caused him to give favor to Joseph. He lifted him and gave him the highest position in the land besides his own. And that is the place where Joseph fulfilled his assignment on this earth. He helped the people be spared from a drought. When the drought came, he had the wisdom from God of how to store up grain and help the people not perish.

The time came when God would arise in Joseph’s life because this was God’s plan. He HAD TO arise. He HAD TO defeat the enemies.

This is how it was with David, too. David was anointed by God. He was a man after God’s heart, and he was chosen to be king of Israel. To be king, he would be doing the Lord’s work. He would be a vessel of God to accomplish God’s plans for Israel: to glorify God and to draw others to God. That plan for David’s life HAD TO happen. It had to.

Saul, who was king at the time, got jealous and started chasing down David, trying to kill him. He was so full of jealousy towardDavid, because David had such anointing and grace upon his life. For many years, David was hiding in caves from Saul. Once again, one can say, “Where is God? This is so unjust. How can God allow this to happen? This is not right!”

Once again: This was the refining fire that David needed to be molded into this leader, this king, that God had called him to be. This was not defeat! This was not injustice! Justice was coming. Victory was coming. He just had to be patient and keep believing in God. And when it was time, when it was God’s beautiful time, His perfect timing, the enemies were scattered. Saul was defeated and David could step into his place of king. And that season of hiding in the caves was gone completely from there. It had passed. Hallelujah!

Psalm 68:1

God, arise with awesome power and every one of your enemies will scatter in fear!

Deuteronomy 28:7

The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will come out against you one way, but flee before you seven ways.

Exodus 23:27

I will send my terror ahead of you and I will throw into confusion all the people among whom you come. And I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in flight. I will send hornets ahead of you which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite before you. I will not drive them out before you in a single year so that the land does not become desolate and the wild animals of the field do not become too numerous for you. I will drive them out before you little by little, until you have increased and are strong enough to take possession of the land. I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines and from the wilderness to the river Euphrates, for I will hand over the residents of the land to you, and you shall drive them out before you.

Do you see how God moves supernaturally to scatter the enemies? And do you see how God is so wise? He doesn’t do everything immediately. He knows what He is doing. You don’t understand everything that’s going on in the spiritual realm. You don’t know why God takes you—takes us, takes this move of God—at the pace that He does. God sees all things. God has this great wisdom. He knows how long you need to be in the refining fire. He knows what will happen if He stops the refining fire too quickly. He knows what He is doing, and you can trust Him. HE WILL ARISE! He will make your enemies scatter! He will bring the victory! Hallelujah.

Joshua 10:10

The Lord threw them into confusion before Israel.

When the Israelites were about to step into the Promised Land God had given them, the Lord threw their enemies into confusion. He supernaturally threw their enemies into confusion

The Lord threw them into confusion before Israel, so Joshua and the Israelites defeated them completely at Gibeon. Israel pursued them along the road going up to Beth Horon and cut them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.

2 Chronicles 20:15

Listen carefully, all you people of Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem and king Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: “Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

The battle is not yours; it’s God’s. Why is it God’s? Because it’s His move! Your life is not your own. Your assignment, this is God’s work through you. You’re a vessel. But this is God doing it through you. This is why it’s God’s battle. He cares about the victory more than you do.

The Lord says this to you: “Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Go down against them tomorrow. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them by the end of the river valley, in front of the wilderness of Jeruel. You need not fight in this battle; take your positions, stand and witness the salvation of the Lord who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

You do what God is calling you to do, you keep doing the work of God, but you do not need to fight your enemies. You do not need to defend yourself. You do not need to worry about, "How am I going to prove myself? How will I defeat this enemy, who is so against me?” You do not need to have your mind go there for a second. If you do, you are trying to fight the battle that’s the Lord’s and not yours.

All you have to do is take your position. What does that mean? Simply keep doing what God has called you to do. That’s it.

I’ve had several people speak against me, make up things about me that aren’t true, make videos about me. There are uncountable amounts of enemies, but they’re my brothers and my sisters, and I bless them and I love them. But they are enemies in terms of them trying to stop me. They are coming against me. They’re trying to stop what God has sent me to do. Through the years, I have faced many enemies, but the Lord has led me to not take the fight in my own hands, but to trust He is fighting for me. I never wanted to do this. I never wanted to minister. I never wanted to be an apostle. I never wanted to preach. I never wanted to be praying for people. I wanted to invite people to come to other servants of God to pray for them. I didn’t want to be doing this at all. But I’m just a vessel doing the work of God. God is doing the work through me.

This is God! This is God’s house. You are God’s people. This is God’s church. This is God’s message today. This is God that the testimonies give glory to. The deliverance, the healing, that’s God’s work. That’s not my work. That’s God’s love. That’s God’s power. The demons aren’t afraid of me; they’re afraid of God in me. They’re not afraid of Kathryn. They’re afraid of God in Kathryn. It’s the power of God!

Time after time again, even when things were very public, with influential people speaking against me, by God’s grace He led me to stay focused, to take my position as apostle, as leader of this church, to preach, to pray for people, to do livestreams, to go minister at other events. That was me standing in my position: to just keep moving forward and doing what God had sent me to do, not looking to the left or the right, at the enemies throwing arrows my way. Season after season, year after year, arrows were coming at me, but I kept walking forward. I didn’t look toward them and try to shoot back at my enemies, because then I wouldn’t have been standing in my position of doing the work of God, of preaching, praying for the sick and the oppressed, and being an example to others of forgiveness and humility and joy and trust in the Lord. Arrows have been coming year after year, month after month, but by God’s grace I haven’t looked left or right. I’ve just stayed focused and allowed God to fight the battle for me.

This is how God is calling you to be: to stand in your position and not fight, to just keep doing what God has sent you to do. When you do that, that’s how you allow God to fight for you. Because when you are taking the fight in your own hands, you disable God’s help! But when you rest and let God fight it for you, that’s when you give Him permission to arise in your life and scatter your enemies!

2 Chronicles 20:20-22

So they got up early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe and trust in the Lord your God and you will be established (secure). Believe and trust in His prophets and succeed.” When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in their holy (priestly) attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Praise and give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.” When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat].

They took their positions and they proclaimed, “We trust in God. We praise God. We thank Him. He has mercy upon us. He has lovingkindness upon us that will endure forever. We are believing in God so we are established. We are believing in the prophets. We are believing in those vessels sent by God to speak the now-word of God, to speak the direction. We are listening to apostles and prophets to bring the equipping that we need to equip us spiritually to have victory, to know how to have victory over the enemy.”

They’re also praising God. Through all the scariness of the enemies coming against them, they are praising God, and that unlocks the mighty hand of God to defeat their enemies. That unlocks the hand of God to come: “When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat].”

Some of you have not been accessing the mighty hand of God. God wants to arise in your life but you haven’t allowed Him to because you’ve taken the fight in your own hands. You haven’t stood in your position because you can’t sit down and let God fight for you, you have to stand in your position. When I’m facing these enemies, I can’t take a break from ministry and just sulk and cry on the couch and say, “God’s fighting it for me.” I have to stand in my position. They are liars. They’re not going to stop me from doing what God has called me to do. The devil through people is not going to stop me or slow me down. I’m standing in my position. I’m continuing to do the work of God and I’m being diligent to protect my peace and joy and my faith, what God has revealed to me in my heart, so that I can continually praise God. I can continually exhibit the joy of the Lord in my life, through my praise to God.

Jeremiah 17:7

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

When you are planted in the house of God where we’re abiding by God’s principles, when you are trusting in the Lord and having confidence in Him, then you will be like a supernatural tree. Because you know it says, It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.” That’s not the case for most trees. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” That's not the case for many trees. You are a supernatural tree. When you have confidence in God, you will always bear fruit. You will always see victory. People will say, “Well all these people are coming against you, how is this possible? All these people speaking all these lies about you, how is this possible? All these attacks I saw on your life, how do you have so much favor? How are you going from glory to glory? How are you having so much abundant life? How?” That’s the story of 5F Church. That’s the testimony of this move of God because God has arisen and scattered His enemies, because this is His move.

James 4:10

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

When you humble yourself and get down low, THEN God will lift you up. But you have to first go down low. It doesn’t feel good to go down low. It feels uncomfortable. It feels unfair. It feels unjust. For me, to hear people speak lies about me and to not defend myself and say, “How dare they?” I have had to just take it in the cheek and turn my cheek. I have to live knowing that many people believe lies about me. In the first season when I experienced the most persecution I ever had, in 2022, it was so public and I saw so many people believing lies—not just any lies, but disgusting lies, the worst kinds of lies, like that I was being used by the devil, that I was a witch. They were the most horrible lies there could ever be. I was hearing them and I was seeing people publicly writing these things. And I knew that a lot of people thought these things about me. A lot of these people even messaged me, accusing me and saying “How could you?” They said horrible things like, “I wish you would die” and other horrible things. But God called me to just stand in my position and not respond to it, to just keep doing the work and living peacefully and contently, knowing that publicly many people around the world were hearing these things about me and not hearing any voices coming out and saying the truth.

So I had to get down low. I had to get down low before God could lift me. I had to live with it—and many people, maybe some of you today, were probably wondering, “What’s the truth? I don’t know.” Some of you might have even believed the lies. I had to come down and wait for God to arise in my life. And now I’ve seen what God has done. When you humble yourself like this and persecution comes, attack comes, it’s like being Joseph in the pit. He was not complaining. He was not saying, “God, how could you do this?” He wasn’t trying to fight. He just sat there and trusted God. The same thing when he was in prison. He didn’t complain to the cup bearer and the baker. He didn’t complain and say, “Hey, get out of there and get me out of here.” He just patiently sat there—he stood in his position, he interpreted their dreams, he did the work of God, and he waited patiently. He wasn’t like, “I’m so great. I have the coat of many colors. I’m so favored above all my brothers and I’m supposed to be in this high position.” He just waited patiently, and then one day, God arose in his life and he came out of that prison and went from the lowest place to the highest place possible. Glory to God!

I’ve seen this happen in my life, glory to God. I had to choose to go down. There was that invitation, “Come down, let me fight for you. You’re going to have to become a person of no reputation where before you had a little reputation. Now you have to be of no reputation. Now you have to really not care how people see you at all. Come lower.”

And so I responded to God and I went lower and I waited patiently. And I believed the prophets. I believed my spiritual father Prophet GeorDavie as he encouraged me, as he shared with me, “You will see all the promises come to pass. You will see them. Trust God. Trust God! The wicked cannot prevail in your life. Just trust God. Be patient.” I trusted. I believed the prophets, like it said in that Scripture.

And I’ve seen that when you’re down on the ground, it’s like this. This is an analogy that my spiritual father gave me. He said it’s like dogs, like vicious dogs. When you’re down, it’s like they’re nipping at you and it hurts. When I was going through the worst of the persecution that I had experienced, it hurt. It was uncomfortable. It was really hard. There were a lot of tears. I felt the nips of the dogs biting. But then, little by little, God started to arise in my life. He started to lift me, to lift the humble, as I humbled myself. And then I got to a place where I was a little bit above the dogs and they’re still nipping at my feet, but I’m above them now and they can’t touch me. But I can hear their barking really loudly and it’s really annoying, and I want to be so much higher where I don’t hear them. But they’re not nipping anymore. They don’t have the power they used to have. Hallelujah! I’m higher now. Because God lifts the humble, you become higher. He lifts you above your enemies where your enemies do not have power over you.

And then I’ve seen day by day, month by month, year by year, for me, for this ministry, for this move of God, as we’ve humbled ourselves, we’ve been lifted higher and higher, for the glory of God. I’ve seen God lift us above our enemies, day by day. He’s made it crystal clear. He’s made it clearer and clearer every day that this is Him. Day by day, those enemies with their lies don’t have the power they once used to have because He has arisen and has revealed Himself so powerfully in His move, through His vessels. Glory to God! Through testimony after testimony after testimony. Hallelujah! And so as He keeps lifting you, as you keep being patient—sometimes that’s years—as He keeps lifting you, you come to a place where the dogs are still jumping up and trying to nip and they’re barking really loud, but the barks are so quiet now. The barks are so quiet you can easily tune them out and now you’re at the place of an eagle. You are flying like an eagle. You are soaring like an eagle. You're soaring like an eagle where you’re so much higher above that it doesn’t bother you; you don’t even notice your enemies anymore. Let God arise in your life and watch your enemies be scattered! Hallelujah!

So when God allows these enemies to attack, it’s like being down on the scoreboard in a game. It’s like being down on the scoreboard: you’re down, your opponent has many runs ahead of you, and it feels like they’re winning, but the game’s not over! This season is temporary. God has not arisen yet. Watch Him arise! And watch Him overtake the enemies and the victory come. It will happen! You have to keep believing.

Let God arise. Let His enemies be scattered.

At the end of the Scripture, it says:

But let the righteous be glad and let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

Maybe you’re in a season right now where you’re feeling the nips of the dogs. Or maybe you’re in a season where you’re hearing the barking really loud. But God wants you to open your eyes, to catch this revelation, that God will give you the victory. The victory is already there. You just have to pass through this. God wants your confidence in Him to grow so big, to know that you must have victory because this is God's plan, plain and simple. You don’t have to worry anymore. You don’t have to wonder, “Will God come through?” He must come through because your life on this earth is not about you. It is God’s work through you. It is God’s plan through you.

When you have this confidence, you will be experiencing joy all the time.

Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

It’s time to rejoice exceedingly, because look at how powerful your God is! Look at your life, look at your future that awaits you. Your God is arising in your life! All your enemies must scatter! You have overwhelming victory! You are more than a conqueror! Your God is faithful, and nobody can defeat God! He is the one fighting every single battle in your life. So it’s time, people of God, righteous ones, to rejoice before God and be glad! Rejoice exceedingly! Hallelujah!
