Today I’m going to be preaching on the unusual ways of God. I know a lot of you have read the Bible; some of you probably haven’t read it all the way through, but even if you have, I believe there are some Scriptures you don’t know about. Are you ready? You are going to learn a lot today.

I’m going to share a lot of Scriptures with you. In each of these, are going to see God commanding His servants, mainly prophets and sometimes apostles, to do some very unusual things.

I want to remind you of something: every single person that I am about to share about was a normal person like you and me—normal people whom God called, God anointed, and chose. These normal people were obedient to God and they said yes to God, even when it was uncomfortable. So let’s learn from them.

Ezekiel 4:4-8

“Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself. You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.

“After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.”

In this passage, God instructed Ezekiel to lay on his side for 390 days, and on another side for 40 days. God had him do this as a prophetic sign concerning Israel and Judah. Just think about that: seeing this prophet just laying on his side—not just for one minute, not just for one hour, not just for one day—for 390 days on one side and 40 on the other. What would you think about him? You would probably think something is not going right in his mind. But God actually told him to do this as a prophetic sign. This is an unusual way of God.

Ezekiel 4:9-15

“Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side. Weigh out twenty shekels of food to eat each day and eat it at set times. Also measure out a sixth of a hin of water and drink it at set times. Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley bread; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel.” The Lord said, “In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them.”

Then I said, “Not so, Sovereign Lord! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No impure meat has ever entered my mouth.”

“Very well,” he said, “I will let you bake your bread over cow dung instead of human excrement.”

Here, God instructed the same prophet Ezekiel to cook his food over cow dung as a prophetic demonstration. He first instructed him to cook it over human waste, but Ezekiel didn’t want to do that, so God said, “Okay, you can do cow dung instead.” 

Imagine if I came here to church and I told you, “The Lord instructed me to do this yesterday as a sign. Everyone, this is what I did.” What would you be thinking in your mind about me? Probably, “I think she’s listening to the devil masquerading as an angel of light.” 

Ezekiel 12:5-7

“While they watch, dig through the wall and take your belongings out through it. Put them on your shoulder as they are watching and carry them out at dusk. Cover your face, so you cannot see the land, for I have made you a sign to the Israelites." So, I did how I was commanded. During the day I brought out my things packed for exile, then in the evening I dug through the wall with my hands.

God was commanding His prophet Ezekiel to do something else unusual as a sign: to dig through the wall with his hands. God instructed Ezekiel to do a lot of unusual things.

Ezekiel 24:15-24

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes.”

God was referring to his wife, the delight of his eyes. 

“Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. Groan quietly, do not mourn for the dead. Keep your turban fastened and your sandals on your feet; do not cover your mustache and beard or eat the customary food of mourners.” So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. The next morning I did as I had been commanded. Then the people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things have to do with us? Why are you acting like this?” So I said to them, “The word of the Lord came to me: Say to the people of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary–the stronghold in which you take pride, the delight of your eyes, the object of your affection. The sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword. And you will do as I have done. You will not cover your mustache and beard or eat the customary food of mourners. You will keep your turbans on your head and sandals on your feet. You will not mourn or weep but will waste away because of your sins and groan among yourselves. Ezekiel will be a sign to you. You will do just as he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.’”

Once again God was using him to do something as a sign. Can you imagine that? God said to him, “Do not cry at all. Do not mourn at all for your wife's death.” And imagine if this were to happen in a church of today, where the pastor has now become a widower and he’s not sad at all. What would you start thinking? Maybe, “Oh, is this person having an affair?” Or “Maybe he has something to do with the death?” That’s what people would start thinking. But it was God instructing him to do this strange, difficult, uncomfortable thing.

Hosea 1:2-3

When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him, “Go, marry a promiscuous woman,”

God said this!

“and have children with her, for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.” So he married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

If Hosea lived today, what would people say? What would people think? But this was obedience to God.

Isaiah 20:2-5

This might be one of the most unusual of all.

At that time the Lord spoke through Isaiah son of Amoz. He said to him, “Take off the sackcloth from your body and the sandals from your feet.” And he did so, going around stripped and barefoot. Then the Lord said, “Just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years, as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush, so the king of Assyria will lead away stripped and barefoot the Egyptian captives and Cushite exiles, young and old, with buttocks bared—to Egypt’s shame. Those who trusted in Cush and boasted in Egypt will be dismayed and put to shame.”

God told Isaiah, “Take off all your clothes and walk around.” Not just for one minute, one hour, one day—for three years! This really happened in the Bible. God is not afraid of our reputation! He’s not afraid of people thinking wrong about us. He’s more concerned about His word going forth and His signs and wonders being shown. He’s more concerned about a message coming through our lives to speak to people, to convict people, to correct people, to open up their eyes. That’s what God cares about, not our reputation. And we’re not supposed to care about that either. We are supposed to die to ourselves completely. That means laying down your ego and your reputation, laying down how people see you and think about you, for Jesus to have His way.

God told this prophet to do this—not just anybody, a prophet! That means that he was someone who was touching God’s heart, like David—someone who deserved the most respect and honor on the earth. But God set him up to not be respected, but to look foolish, to look like he had lost his mind. These are God’s ways. He knows best. Who are we to fully understand God’s ways? We’re not supposed to fully understand God’s ways, but to simply be obedient and trust that He knows what He’s doing, that He has a perfect purpose in what He is asking us to do. 

I respect Isaiah for doing this. That is not something easy to do. 

1 Kings 17:21-22

There was a child who died and God led Prophet Elijah to raise him from the dead. This is how he instructed him to do it:

Then he stretched himself out upon the child three times and called to the Lord and said, “Oh Lord, my God, please let this child’s life return to him.” The Lord heard the voice of Elijah and the life of the child returned to him and he revived.

He stretched himself out upon the child. This grown man placed himself on a dead body, laying frontal on the boy, and put his face on top of his face. 

Imagine if you were there, observing. It would have looked quite strange, and maybe some would say it was inappropriate. And some people would say to themselves, “This is wrong, because why couldn’t he just say, ‘Come alive! Get up’? Or why couldn’t he just lay a hand on his head? Why did he have to do all that? It looked weird, and people said it looked wrong. 

What’s the answer? God is God! God does what He wants. God instructs His servants to do whatever He wants them to do. We even see Jesus and the way He is praying for people looks different all the time.Why? I don’t know. God knows! It’s biblical. God is God. Who are we? We are mere creation. And there are some things we don’t need to fully understand. We are supposed to let God be God, and simply be childlike, be humble, and obey. But if someone brought a dead person here today and I did that, can you imagine the videos they would make? And I would say, “God told me to do this,” just like He told Elijah, but can you imagine the videos and the way they would twist it to be perverted, when it was not? 

2 Kings 4:34

Elisha also raised a child from the dead.

He went up and he lay on the child and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands.

That looks similar to what we just saw: eyes on top of eyes, mouth on top of mouth, hands upon hands. That’s what God instructed.

2 Kings 4:32-35

When Elisha came into the house, the child was dead and lying on his bed. So he went in, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord. Then he went up and he lay on the child and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands. And as he stretched himself out on him and held him, the boy’s skin became warm. Then he returned and walked in the house once back and forth, and went up again, and stretched himself out on him, and the boy sneezed seven times and he opened his eyes.

Now let’s look at another miracle through Elisha:

2 Kings 5:10-14

Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.”

But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.

Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!” So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.

In this passage Elisha instructed Naaman to wash himself seven times in the Jordan to receive healing from leprosy. Why didn’t he just say, “Be healed”? And why did he have to go in the water seven times? Some people could call that witchcraft, just because it looks different and it’s not the traditional way that they see people being prayed for. But that’s what God chose to do through Elisha, and Naaman received his healing.

That was the Old Testament. Now we are going to go to the New Testament, to Jesus.

John 9:6-7

When he had said this, He (Jesus) spat on the ground and made mud with His saliva, and He spread the mud like an ointment on the man’s eyes, and He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.

What would you think if I brought dirt here today? And if I then spat on it, used my fingers to make mud, and put it on the eyes of someone who needs healing? What would people say?

Jesus did this. Why didn’t Jesus just say, “Be healed”? Why didn’t Jesus just put His hand over his eyes? Because He is God! That’s why. We don’t need an explanation; we don’t need it to make sense. We don’t need it to fit in our religious box where we put God, because He’s not there. He is outside of the box, doing a new thing, moving in unusual and extraordinary ways. 

Mark 7:32-33

They brought to Him a man who was deaf and had difficulty speaking and they begged Jesus to place His hand on him. Jesus, taking him aside by himself, away from the crowd, put his fingers into the man’s ears, and after spitting, He touched the man’s tongue [with the saliva]. 

Jesus puts His saliva on the guy’s tongue with His hand. So, He got the guy’s ear wax on His fingers, then He spits on it, and then the guy tastes his own ear wax and Jesus’ saliva. This is our Jesus!

Mark 7:34-35

And looking up to heaven, He sighed deeply and said to the man, “Ephphatha,” which [in Aramaic] means, “Be opened and released!” And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he began speaking plainly.

Hallelujah! But why didn't Jesus just say, “Be opened and released”? Because He’s God!

Why are we trying to figure it out? Why are we trying to force God to do things our way? Because people want to stay comfortable. But the Jesus way, the narrow road, is not comfortable—and that’s why it’s the narrow road. Few find it because people hate being uncomfortable more than anything. But this is the way of God and it is worth it.

Mark 8:22-25

They came to Bethsaida and some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged Him to touch him. Taking the blind man by the hand, He led him out of the village, and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see anything?” And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking around.” Then again Jesus laid His hands on his eyes and the man stared intently and [his sight] was [completely] restored, and he began to see everything clearly.

This is how it happened: Jesus first spat on his eyes directly. This really happened! This is the Bible! This is the word of God!

Then we have Paul:

Acts 19:11-12

God was doing extraordinary and unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or face-towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out [of them].

Why didn’t Paul just say, “Be healed”? Why didn’t he just lay hands? Because God wanted to do something different and new through Apostle Paul. But what would people say? “Jesus never did that. You are going against the word of God. Jesus never prayed for people using handkerchiefs and aprons.” Some people would call it witchcraft, because anything that is different, that they haven’t seen before, they like to call witchcraft. And because in the church, people are not used to seeing the power of God, the devil has glorified his demonic power so much that people will jump and say, “It’s witchcraft, because we never see God’s power move.” 

That’s a problem: when you don’t see God’s power move. Look at the Bible! God’s power was always greater than the devil’s power, and it was always present in the church. It was always present through the servants of God in the Old Testament, through the prophets, and it was always present in the New Testament church. It was actually central to the New Testament church. The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power (1 Corinthians 4:20). Paul says, “I didn’t come to you with wise and persuasive words, but I came to you with the demonstration of God’s power, so that your faith would not rest on man’s words for it, but God’s power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). When he ministered, he made sure that the power of God was central; it was the foundation! Demonstrating the power of God was vital. It was the priority—not the nice sermon that he had for them or the fancy words or the charisma. He didn’t say, “I’m a great communicator.” No! The power of God is what is important—releasing the power of God to the people. That’s what is priority. That’s what comes first. Always! Not once in a month. This is how it always was in the New Testament church, the Acts church.

Acts 5:15

People brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

We see the shadow of Apostle Peter touching people. That’s unusual; that’s different. Once again, we don’t read about Jesus doing that. People could have said, in Peter’s time, “What are you doing? Are you doing witchcraft? This is not biblical. We don’t see Jesus doing this.”

God chose to use Peter in this new, unusual, different way, for His reasons, for His purposes, for His glory. 

Remember also the story in the Bible of this woman: she and her son were about to die, and they were preparing their last meal (1 Kings 17). They were that starved. Can you imagine that? They knew their bodies were shutting down. This is real life. Some people know when they are going to die. Some of you might have experienced this, that people had this knowing. They just know that their body has had it. So they were going to prepare their very last meal. And here comes Prophet Elijah, and he says, “Make me a meal first” (1 Kings 17:13).If a servant of God did that today, people would say, “That’s not love. That’s selfish. That’s evil.”

But, as the story goes, as they sowed into this prophet, that’s when a supernatural reaping came, and the oil never ran out, and they survived and prospered. But people twist sowing today. Elijah was saying, “Sow into me, into my ministry,” because he knew the principle of reaping, and he knew that this was how God was going to produce abundance in their lives and deliver them from poverty and death. He knew that. God was instructing him, “Tell them to sow.” 

But we all know how that would be perceived today. And he didn’t give a long sermon, like, “Now, let me explain to you, this is not me being evil. This is not me stealing from you. This is simply what God has instructed me to tell you, because this is how you will reap.” No, he simply gave this prophetic direction. It shows how God will tell true prophets and true anointed servants of God to do something, and they are supposed to just quickly obey and do it. They’re not supposed to think about, “How will this be perceived? Will I be misunderstood? I don’t know how people will take this. Let me wait. Let me think how I can word it in a certain way where people don’t think wrongly of me because I really don’t want to be misunderstood.” Because then it’s too late. Then the word has been tainted by the fear of man. 

We don’t know much about apostles and prophets in the body of Christ today. How do we learn? We read the Bible.Today, we’re learning about how God used prophets and apostles. God sometimes asks prophets, and at times apostles, to do unusual things. It’s different from pastors and evangelists and teachers. It’s important we know this: how prophets and apostles operate, so that we don’t miss God’s word when it comes—so that when a prophetic direction comes, you don’t pervert it and twist it or let other people pervert this precious, prophetic direction that has come through a true servant of God, that will lead to your deliverance, to abundant life, to you walking in your calling. 

I thank God that He perfectly prepared me by giving me pure and humble parents. My parents were never skeptical of anything. I never heard them say one sentence of skepticism. And skepticism is being judgmental. My parents minded their own business. If they didn’t feel called to be friends with somebody, they weren’t friends with them. They didn’t talk badly about them. That was my example, and I thank God for that example! I don’t know what it is to be skeptical. I don’t know what it is to be critical. I don’t know what it is to be judgmental. And I know with all my heart that God made sure my parents were the way they are so that I wouldn’t miss my calling—the prophecy that came through this prophet from Tanzania, East Africa. I didn’t know who he was; I didn’t know prophets from Africa. If I had had a different upbringing, I believe I would have missed it. When he spoke, “You’re called to be an apostle. You’re called to reach the nations,” and especially when he said that it was God's calling for him to be my spiritual father, I believe I would have missed it. I would have asked my friends, "What do you think?” They would have said, “Who’s this prophet? Is he really a prophet? There are a lot of false prophets out there, be careful.” They could have been racist or ethnocentric and said, “Who is this man from Africa?” But I thank God that I had wisdom. I knew that people wouldn’t understand. It was like my “burning bush” moment, where I had this knowing that God had spoken to me, but I knew that others wouldn’t understand. I thank God He gave me this wisdom to not take a poll, not give my pearls to swines and let them poison the precious pearls that were deposited into me. I thank God for His perfect ways. I thank God for my parents. More than ever, I’m so grateful for my parents because I see so much impurity in the body of Christ, in the way of judgment, pride, skepticism, perverting things in their minds because of their own impurities. Because when you’re prideful, you call others prideful. When you have bad motives, you speak that of other people. You don’t know purity yourself, so you can’t recognize purity in another person. 

I’m so thankful to my parents because I didn’t know any of that impurity. Thank God. Thank God I didn’t miss this prophecy for my life and thank God, I’ve been able to hold on to this prophecy and to the truth; to not let others pull me away from where God has called me to be and to be under my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie. I thank God for the way He raised me up in purity so I can continue to recognize truth and see God. Because the Bible says, “the pure in heart shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). 

What do you think you’ll do when you go to heaven and you see these prophets? When you see Isaiah who went around naked for three years because God told him to do that? I’m going to honor them and show respect to them. The Bible says, “Give honor where honor is due” (Romans 13:7). There are some servants of God in our past and today who are doing very difficult things for Jesus—for us, for the body of Christ. Many are called, few are chosen (Matthew 22:14). The few who are chosen are the ones who will do what no one else will do, who will do anything for Jesus, no matter what it costs them, and no matter how undignified they look or what crazy things people call them.

I’ve seen this in my spiritual father, Prophet Dr. GeorDavie, like I’ve never seen before. It’s so rare that someone would obey God in this high level. I’ve never seen such fruit in my life as I have through his ministry and through him as a servant of God. But I’ve also never seen such a unique way of ministering, such a departure from religion as I have through his ministry and through his life, in the area of simple preaching, of truly hearing from God, and ministering to people in unique and different ways, not all looking the same, and having this complete lack of fear of man. I have learned that from my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie. I am able to be bold and strong and not care about what people say about me or think about me because of his example. It amazes me. I’ve been under him for ten years. I’ve seen how he responds to persecution. He only fears God, he will do things that God calls him to do even when he knows people will persecute him. He will do it anyway! 

That’s how we should be! That’s how I always want to be—“This is going to lead to a lot of persecution but I’m doing it anyway! I don’t care! I will do what God asks me to do no matter what!” 

The Bible says to give honor where honor is due. When there is a lot of honor due, we’re supposed to give a lot of honor. That is why I really honor my spiritual father. 

I want to share something with you that is very important. Different does not equal demonic. 

John 14:12 

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

John 21:25 

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were recorded one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

We read about some of the miracles that Jesus did, but the Bible says that He did so many more miracles that were not written. And Jesus says, “You will do the things I do and greater.” So when He speaks this, the New Testament hasn’t even been written yet. He’s talking about all the miracles He did, including the ones that weren’t recorded! He says, “You will do these things AND GREATER." 

So we should expect to see the miracles Jesus did and much more! And we should expect God to move in new ways because we see Him do this all throughout the Bible. And He continues moving in new, different ways, through Peter and then Paul. That shows us that He’s going to continue moving in new and different ways! He’s not confined to just the laying of the hand and the spitting in the eyes. We’re not confined to just speaking the word. We’re not confined to the shadow touching people. We’re not confined to God healing people through the handkerchiefs and aprons. God could do something different now! 

A few weeks ago, I saw my spiritual father do something new at his church. He said, “Just walk by me, and as you walk by, God is healing you.” This was similar to the shadow, but it’s something different. We should expect that! That’s biblical. 

But religion wants to confine you in a box. Religious people want to confine you to their way of doing things. They don’t want you to do anything extraordinary or different or new. They don’t want to see God move! It’s like the Scripture I shared with you last Sunday: “In the last days, there will be people who have a form of godliness but deny the power of God [that could actually change them]” (2 Timothy 3:5). And when Jesus talks to the Pharisees, He says, “You don’t enter the Kingdom of heaven and you also won’t allow anyone else to enter it” (Matthew 23:13). So they don’t want to go in. They don’t want to go into the greater things. They don’t want to go into the miraculous power of God. They don’t want to allow God to use them in ways that make them undignified like prophets and apostles. But they also will work so hard to try to keep other people from entering the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of heaven. 

We need to recognize this heavy religious spirit at work in America, in the West, that is trying so hard to keep people from entering the Kingdom of God. We have to stand firm and know the devil’s schemes to try to keep us out of the will of God and the Kingdom of God here on this earth. 

1 Corinthians 1:27 

But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty].

I can see this Scripture so much with my spiritual father being from Africa, with him being a weak and foolish thing to shame those who are know-it-alls. There are a lot of know-it-alls in the American church, who don’t carry the power of God. I’ve seen people say things like, “Why doesn’t she have a covering in America?” Meaning that American Christianity is the best. This exposes the ethnocentrism, racism, and pride in the American church, in the Western church. Those spirits are at work trying to stop God's move. But God uses whoever He wants to use, and I stand with every church and anointed servant of God from Africa, from Asia, from Europe, from South America, North America, Australia, New Zealand, the islands, Central America, Middle East, I stand with you all. And I say, as an American, “I am not better than you. I am not more spiritual than you. I stand with the church worldwide, with the anointed leaders in the despised, looked-past nations and continents, such as Africa. I stand with them unashamedly and boldly! And I will, my whole life!”

This pride in America and in the American church is not right. It has to end. This church in the West must be purified!

It is biblical that God uses those who are despised, looked past, and counted out. This is who God chooses to use to shame the wisdom and pride of this world. And the proud get angry about it; they feel the shame. They recognize that they don’t carry the power of God, they recognize their lukewarmness, and they get angry about it. 

I stand with the weak and foolish ones. Whether you are young, whether you’re black, whatever skin color you are, if you’re chosen by God, I stand with you! We are equal! 

If there are churches and ministers who need to be exposed, it’s the ones who are not carrying the power of God and who are not demonstrating the love of Jesus—His compassion, His grace, His mercy, and servant heart with no selfish ambition. Those are the ones who need to be exposed, if anyone needs to be exposed. But I am not going to expose any church or any minister. Because God has not called me to do that; He actually hasn’t called anybody to do that. 

Matthew 7:1 

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

People use this verse as an excuse to judge people, ministers, and ministries because of their pride. “You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16) and “Judge righteously” (John 7:24). These verses are not saying that you should judge as God judges, putting yourself in the judgment seat and casting judgment in your heart, let alone publicly. God gives us wisdom to know who is a true prophet, a false prophet, a true apostle, a false apostle, a true pastor, a false pastor, etc. He gives us this wisdom: to know them by their fruits. 

What are fruits? First, the fruits of one’s character: they are not judgmental, not prideful, not selfish, not hateful. That they do not have negative words coming out of their mouths towards other people, but rather, they are pure in heart. They are humble, they are obedient to God, they have compassion for others, they love everyone, they love their enemies. Those are the fruits. They are patient, kind, and gentle. They have self-control. Those are the first aspect of the fruits that God is talking about. 

The second part are the fruits of the ministry, which are just as important—that people’s lives are being transformed, they’re giving their lives to Jesus. They're not just raising their hands and saying the sinners prayer, but they’re actually surrendering their lives to Jesus and their lives are being brought closer to Jesus everyday. They’re being transformed spiritually to be more mature, more like Jesus, and they are being healed if they need healing. They are being delivered if they need deliverance. They are walking in abundant life, peace, and joy and they are being equipped and receiving impartation to walk in their calling. Those are the fruits of how to know what’s true or false. 

But when God says you shall know them by their fruits and judge righteously, He is talking about discerning: is this a true minister or not? If it’s true, then maybe God is calling me to come into their ministry and be planted there and receive from them. If they’re not true, I zip my mouth and I look to where God is calling me to be planted. I don’t throw stones and cast judgment, because Jesus says, “You who have never sinned, only you can throw a stone” (John 8:7)—which means judging publicly, speaking aloud. And Jesus, He was perfectly sinless and even He didn’t throw a stone. That means that even if we were perfect, even if you have never sinned one time, if you want to follow Jesus’s example, you technically shouldn’t say a judgmental word about a single person ever. 

So what do we do about false prophets and false ministers? Some people think that it’s their job to tear them down and expose them. But this is what we do instead:

Acts 5:33-39 

When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

So God's direction, we see, is to let them alone! If it’s of human origin, it will fail. God Himself will have it fail, in His timing. We might think, “Oh, but people are being deceived by the false prophets.” I know, it’s grieving! But our job is to shine our lights. It’s also grieving that Joseph went through all that injustice, being thrown in the pit and being thrown in the prison. But God’s timing is not ours! God's ways are not our ways. So instead of playing God, casting judgment, being the one to try to tear down someone’s ministry, you are called to leave it alone and shine your light, so if that ministry is not of God, your light will outshine that darkness and will attract those people under a false prophet to come to the true ministry of God—because your light is so bright! 

This is the biblical way, and I pray eyes open up! This is the Bible! But how many Christian leaders today are not following the Bible concerning this topic. It’s wild out there! This is the Bible! It’s not complicated, but people don’t want to believe certain parts of the Bible that conflict with their pride. 

I  will never expose those whom I think are false or carnal ministers. I will never do that. Why also? Because of this example in the Bible. 

Philippians 1:15-18

Some, it is true, (this is Paul speaking) are [actually] preaching Christ out of envy and rivalry [toward me—for no better reason than a competitive spirit or misguided ambition], but others out of goodwill and a loyal spirit [toward me]. The latter [preach Christ] out of love, because they know that I have been put here [by God on purpose] for the defense of the gospel; but the former preach Christ [insincerely] out of selfish ambition [just self-promotion], thinking that they are causing me distress in my imprisonment. What then [does it matter]? So long as in every way, whether in pretense [for self-promotion] or in all honesty [to spread the truth], Christ is being preached; and in this I rejoice. 

Wow!  Do you see what Paul is saying? He actually rejoices that Christ is being preached. And now, I’m starting to understand this verse better. There have been several people who have shared that they found 5F Church—where they were then delivered, transformed, gave their lives to Jesus, and are walking in abundant life—through an “exposed” video.

So it’s two-part. We are grieved by people speaking against the work of God, but we also have to remember that God is allowing it. Just like we’re grieved that Joseph had to go through that injustice: being thrown in the pit, thrown in the prison, and falsely accused. It looked like there was evidence that he really tried to sleep with Potiphar’s wife, but he was innocent. It is grieving. We feel the grief, but at the same time we have to remember that God is allowing it. And if He’s allowing it, then He has a purpose in it. It was Joseph who said, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good for the saving of many lives. What you did, God turned it for my good so that God could use me to save many lives” (Genesis 50:20). 

I am seeing this happen through these testimonies. What’s so amazing is that some people actually read their Bibles and have a pure heart—they’re the quiet ones. They’re the ones who have lives, they don’t gossip. Then there are people who are gossipers, who gossip in the comments section of an exposed video. But there are a lot of pure hearts in the body of Christ who don’t have time to gossip in the comments section. They see, like Lauren testified: “I saw an exposed video and I was like, ‘Wow. She must be really anointed the way that they have so much hatred towards her, because that’s how it is: the anointed ones are the ones that are hated and persecuted. I have to check it out.” And she shared that later, when she came to the ministry and she became planted, people started speaking against Prophet GeorDavie. And she thought, “I have to go to Tanzania. He must be so anointed.” And she went. She was the first person from Five-Fold Church to receive so mightily through the true Prophet of God, Prophet Dr. GeorDavie, in Tanzania East Africa. The devil is shamed! Let the devil swallow razors! The very things he tried to get her to stay away from 5F Church and Prophet GeorDavie in Tanzania are the very things that led her to come to 5F Church and to Tanzania to receive from God. And this was the seed that led to so many others to receive! 

So there are a lot of pure hearts who see the truth—they see through the nonsense. So I personally rejoice because I know God is going to use those exposed videos to reach many others out there with pure hearts and bring a harvest in. 

What led to so many exposed videos, for this past month and a half, was a July 15 video from the Houston book signing, where people were touched so powerfully by God. Some were delivered and some were receiving anointing. That video went viral, and people started talking about it. Many people were making fun of it and mocking the Holy Spirit. Because they had never seen that before, they thought it was demonic and were speaking against it. It even led to Fox News showing the video. 

We’ve never been on mainstream news, until a few weeks ago. And it really excites me, because God’s power is moving, and I know people were touched through it, whether they were healed, freed, or their eyes were opened up to see God’s moving in power today. Or people just received curiosity and hunger to seek and find God. But what’s so amazing is you can just see God’s hand, and God saying, “The devil intended this for bad. People intended this to harm my ministry, my servants of God, my work. But My hand is here and now I’m turning it for good.” 

This really shocked me: when I saw the two commentators kind of making fun of it, but they were not flat-out saying that it was demonic or witchcraft. You could just tell that they didn’t know what it was, and it was one of those segments to talk about something that is going viral today. They didn’t really know what to say, so they weren’t really talking against it. They definitely weren’t supporting it, but what was amazing is that the title of the segment was “When Revival Goes Viral.” Hallelujah! Mainstream media news declared that this is revival, and that it’s gone viral. So even though these people were preaching with bad intentions, preaching against this move of God, God turned it for good. 

So like Paul, I rejoice in the preaching of the gospel. 

When I was first in Los Angeles, I was going to a mega church. They talk about the baptism of the Holy Spirit or demons being cast out or the healing of the sick. There was no power of God moving. It was actually one of the biggest seeker-friendly churches there are. This meant that people didn’t talk in too much “Christian language,” to try to attract people that were offended or turned off by church. So I was going there for years, and when my eyes opened up and I encountered the power of the Holy Spirit, I was so grieved at first. I felt almost angry at the pastor, thinking “These people need to know the truth. They need to encounter the Holy Spirit.” I felt so upset, but then God started to teach me, and I realized that it was there that I got serious about God like never before in my life. It was there that I was around people who were passionate for God like I had never seen before. It was there that I started serving and serving and serving. And I transformed so much at that church: I grew closer to Jesus, and God taught me: we need to see each other as one team. And God is the one who judges. He might be very angry at that pastor; I don’t know. That’s not my business! We are all one team. And there are some teammates who are more obedient than others, but God has so much grace.

There are people in the world living in so much darkness, and it’s better that people are preaching Jesus, even if there’s no power, than if they don’t talk about Jesus at all in that city. 

I came closer to Jesus at that church. But there are two perspectives: I could be extremely judgmental, aiming every sermon at preaching against that church, either outright or in a passive aggressive way. Or I could have unity and love in my heart. And so I say, ”I rejoice that they’re preaching; let them keep preaching.” Because seeds are being planted there that are going to eventually lead people to surrender fully to Jesus. I was prepared there to fully surrender to Jesus. I was prepared there to feel more hungry for God. 

So we are supposed to rejoice when the gospel is being preached, whether it is a good motive or not; whether somebody is being completely obedient to God or not. And now we take it even a step further: I rejoice even when people preach against me, against 5F, or against the Holy Spirit, because God is somehow using it for good. 

I want to say to everyone who speaks against me: I love you, I pray for you, and I see we are one team. Even though you’re coming against me hard, I see we’re on one team. Because you’re preaching Jesus, for the most part (maybe some of these messages now are not—you are preaching against the Holy Spirit), but by and large you’re preaching Jesus, so I rejoice that you’re preaching. Keep preaching. I cheer you on. 

We are one team. We have one enemy: the devil. Let’s stand together in unity because that’s how we advance the Kingdom of God and destroy the devil’s kingdom. 

I’m so grateful for my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie. He is the most un-religious person of God I’ve ever met. He doesn’t walk on eggshells, afraid of offending the religious, and I’ve learned a lot from him. In America, we have a big problem with people who love the Holy Spirit and hate religion, but who don’t fully act like they hate religion. They still step on eggshells. We are so politically correct in the Western church; we are so afraid of people misunderstanding us. That’s got to come out. That’s got to get out of us. We have to not care what people think about us, not care if we will be persecuted by what we do in obedience to God. That should not be in our minds. We are focused too much on trying to not be misunderstood that we’re pushing out the Holy Spirit. 

2 Samuel 6:14-16

Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets. As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart. 

So when he was acting so freely and not religiously, she despised him. 

2 Samuel 6:17-19

They brought the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the Lord. After he had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord Almighty. Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each person in the whole crowd of Israelites.

2 Samuel 6:20-23

When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, “How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, going around half-naked in full view of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!” David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord’s people Israel—I will celebrate before the Lord. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor.” And Michal daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

Michal had no children, as a reaping. David was not naked; he just didn’t have his priestly robes on. It’s like me today: I am looking distinguished, glory to God. I’m dressed nice, I have my hair done, and my makeup on. I’m looking presentable as an apostle. If I go home later and I have my pajamas on, my hair up, and my makeup off (I’m not saying you have to wear makeup, I’m just saying I’m being presentable here today at church), and I feel I want to worship God and I want to film it, for the glory of God, and share it with you all so you can feel the joy of the Lord and praise God with me. That’s like what David was doing. So Michal was like, “You’re supposed to be so dignified, king, in your priestly robes.” But he was like, “I don’t care, God is amazing! Let me take it off. I want to become undignified. I want to humble myself and be wild for God.” And I love that David says this: “I will become even more undignified than this.” I love that! Hallelujah!

2 Samuel 6:22

“and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.”

He meant, “I don’t care if people humiliate me, if I see people mock me and humiliate me for worshipping God, for serving God with all my heart.” And I say that too. I will become even more undignified than this! 

We see these examples of how God used prophets and apostles in unusual ways. Sometimes He used them to teach the church something. He used them as a test. And the ugliness came out: the ugliness aimed at a servant of God. We have to be okay with that. If God wants to use us as the test—if He wants to use us in a way that makes us look undignified, we need to say, “I’ll become even more undignified than this for you Jesus!” This is my heart. I’m willing to become even more undignified for Jesus. 

I want to share a video of my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie, ministering, because I want you to see an example of how prophets operate. We are not used to this in the body of Christ, especially in the West, but they see things in the spiritual realm, very deeply. It’s different than when the prophetic anointing comes upon me. It’s deeper and more intricate how a prophet sees, and God will call them to minister to the person in a certain way, and it won’t always look the same. But it comes from a pure place, but the world wants to twist it and make it perverted. 

This video is from when I hosted Prophet GeorDavie in Los Angeles. This was the same conference where he prophesied, “God has heard America’s prayers for revival and He has brought revival now.” This might have been the first woman that he ministered to, and in this moment, I was tearing up. At this point, I was not walking in the power of God, but it was my biggest heart's desire for the people in America, in LA, to encounter God’s power, and it happened in this moment. I remember it was one of the happiest days of my life to see people be touched by God’s power in LA through my spiritual father.

Prophet GeorDavie:

I want your hand, one hand, this hand. (Points to her left hand.) Stand here. This hand, I want this hand to put here. (He puts his own hand on the spot on his own body for the woman to imitate with her own hand on the spot on her body.) 

Woman:

(Holds her left hand out straight.)

Prophet GeorDavie: 

No, this hand to put there. (Points to her hand she is holding out, and points to the spot he wants her to place her hand on her body.) You see why I told her to put it there, there is something that starts going around from there, spreading to the whole body. I repeat. There is something that is starting from there, and it goes to the whole body that needs a touch of Jesus for healing. I repeat, that needs a touch of Jesus for healing. Do you hear me? Do you know what I am saying? Do you know there is something in you that needs healing in your flesh? I mean in your flesh.

Young Woman:

She’s been very sick all week from her stomach. And she went to the doctor. He gave her medication. She’s my mom. And all week she’s been sick from her stomach. 

Prophet GeorDavie:

Alright so when God locates you it means that the Kingdom of God is here. So God wants to heal you as I speak to you. Just as I speak to you I see healing is coming down. I release this anointing to come to you right now and heal you right now, completely. I see the power of God is moving and she’s been healed right now. Receive it. It’s for you right now. Thank you, Jesus. Touch of Jesus.

Woman:

(Woman begins jumping up and down.)

Prophet GeorDavie:

This is powerful. Jesus is healing her right now. Right now, Jesus is healing her. There is a great operation in her right now. Something has been done in the spiritual realm. Something has been done in the spiritual realm right now. She’s been healed. You are healed from today, in Jesus’ name. (Prophet GeorDavie blows into the microphone.) Healed.

So that is the anointing that I walk in; it was imparted to me through Prophet Dr. GeorDavie, just like Elijah to Elisha. Did you see how he told her to put her hand down in the low abdomen area? God instructed that. And you see she was healed. People could twist that if they want to be evil and perverted. But this is a pure man of God and this is how God chose to use him and how he chooses to use him in other ways, in unique ways. 

Lastly, I want to share that there is a time when you have to take a stand. Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” There is a time when you really have to take a stand, so I would like to take a stand right now. 

I want to first say that I will not apologize for the anointing that I carry, that God has poured into me through the impartation of my spiritual father. 

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. First to the Jew then to the Gentile.

I am not ashamed of this power of God that, for God’s glory, He has poured in my life to minister to people. I am not ashamed of this power of God that operates here at 5F Church and around the world at events and online. This power of God has touched many lives; it has delivered thousands and thousands of people from all sorts of oppressions. This power of God has healed so many people of so many sicknesses, pains, and afflictions in their body. This power of God has even raised the dead, glory to God. This power of God has opened up eyes to God’s love. This power of God has led people into true salvation, true surrender, and transformation to be more like Jesus. This true power of God has led to people finding their true callings and walking as anointed servants of God and receiving impartation of anointing themselves. This power of God has equipped thousands of lives to be victorious over the devil and to be who God has called them to be. So I do not apologize for the anointing in my life and that moves through this ministry and around the world. 

I will not apologize for demonstrating the power of God and I will not apologize for publishing the works of God online and all over the world on all sorts of social media pages.

Psalm 96:3

Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. 

To “publish” is defined as, “To make information available to the general public.” I have seen thousands of people be healed and delivered through a video where somebody is being delivered or is encountering God’s power. In the Bible, we see that people were being delivered in public. People were not being taken in private. They were being delivered and demons were being cast out, all sorts of manifestations were taking place, in public. And if there were cameras in the times of Jesus and the Acts church, they would be recording and publishing these glorious works for the world to see, so that eyes could open up to the fact that God is moving in power today, that deliverance is possible, that healing is possible, and that Jesus is alive, so people could receive miracles through the screen while they watch. 

I will not apologize for publishing the works of Jesus because this is what God has instructed us to do at 5F Church, for His glory. This is a way of preaching the gospel and demonstrating God’s power to the world. 

I will not apologize for people of God sowing seeds as the Holy Spirit leads them. I honor people’s freedom to sow according to the conviction and the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

I will also not apologize for giving someone a prophetic direction when God leads me to share this prophetic instruction with them. When this prophetic instruction will lead to their deliverance, when it will lead to whatever God wants to do in their life, I will not withhold the prophetic information God has entrusted to me to deliver to this person. I don’t care what people think. I don’t care what people will twist it as. I must obey God. 

I will not apologize for how people choose to honor a servant of God. People have different cultures and different revelations that they want to learn from another culture to honor someone. They see that it’s beautiful and they personally feel led by God to honor a person in such a way. So I don’t apologize for people giving honor where honor is due however God leads them to do it, when it is honor. I’m not talking about idolatry and worship, I’m talking about honor. Let the people of God honor. 

Lastly, my ultimate accountability is to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I am accountable to Him and Him alone. He is the one that called me; He is the one that I serve. And I answer to Him and Him alone. I will continue to be obedient to Him and I will continue to be unashamed of Him and what He’s called me to do, His works, and the manifestations of His Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Hallelujah! Let’s go, revival army. We are unstoppable through Christ. We are victorious through Christ. We have overwhelming victory through Christ, and we are going to see God amaze us with wonder upon wonder every day from now. We are going to see Him do such miracles and wonders and expand this revival, bringing in such a harvest. I’m so excited and expectant to see God move like never ever before.
