This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick Lead Pastor/ Apostle of 5F Church in Los Angeles, CA on October 29, 2024. Below is a word for word transcription of the message as if Apostle Kathryn is writing this to you. To watch the full video scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.

We have to pick up our cross. There is a price to pay for this amazing true life, abundant life, joy and peace. There is a price to pay: Picking up your cross. Being a servant for Jesus. Doing what He is asking of us when it is sometimes hard and uncomfortable. And part of picking up that cross is going through the wilderness. Going through these attacks that the enemy sends and God allows. Do you know that Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil? The bible says He was led by the spirit.

Luke 4:1

Jesus, full of the spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the spirit, meaning Holy Spirit, into the wilderness, where for 40 days He was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days and at the end of them He was hungry. And the devil tempted Him.

Most of you know the story, but basically the devil tempts Him and wants Jesus to open up a door and obey what the devil is asking Him to do. And Jesus, even though He is weak physically, hadn’t eaten for 40 days; the Holy Spirit was helping Him and He rejected the devil. And He won the battle, He passed the test!

And then after that time of testing was passed, the bible says that the devil left Him for a time. So it was temporary. That was a testing temporary season. That will happen in your life, where the Holy Spirit will actually lead you into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. So we should not be getting all distraught, all disturbed, when we find attacks. Sometimes it is Holy Spirit wanting you to go through that.

And the bible says in 1. Corinthians 10:13

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so you can endure.

These things will come. These attacks will come. But you need to be spiritually minded and not get all distracted and not get scared by the devil. The bible says that God will never allow you to go through something you can’t handle, you can’t pass. The tests He is giving you, you can pass! You can do it!

And I share this, because to be a leader, we have to be mature. We can’t get disturbed and freaked out and so distracted when tests come, when attacks come. We have to grow up spiritually, we have to be mature. Say: “It is testing time!” Yeah, taking tests aren’t fun. But we got to do it, to go higher, to please God. So He can pour more anointing in our lives and use us more powerfully.

So when they come, let us follow Jesus’ example and be strong. Resist the devil and renew your mind: “I am living a life of surrender! I am giving God all of my life.” It is a choice. The choice is yours.

Many times people get excited about surrender, excited about revival and then time passes. Months pass, years pass. And all the sudden an attack comes, a testing comes. Sometimes the devil takes them right out. You don’t need to let the devil take you out! Stay strong! Keep going!

It says in Proverbs 13:11

Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.

Part of being a leader is being mature. So much of our role as warriors in this endtime revival army is endurance. ENDURANCE!

Being consistent, being persistent, not giving up.

The bible says: Do not be weary in doing good. For at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.

Do not be weary in doing good. My life is a testimony of this. It was years of not feeling like a leader, not feeling like I was doing anything important, many times boring and mundane, not fun, discouraging. But that was what was required by God. That was the cross I had to bear. And that’s how we get to a harvest. That’s how we be leaders. Is plant, day after day, year after year. With the heart to just please God. If you can stay focused: “I’m just a servant”, rather than getting so obsessed with the promise being fulfilled. That is how you can have endurance. That is how you can keep going and stay strong.

Wealth gained hastily will dwindle.

I don’t want to talk about only wealth in money, I want to talk about everything in the kingdom.

Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.

It is so important that you don’t let yourself get bored with the planting. With the consistent showing up and serving God day after day. It is very important that you don’t start having your eyes look towards things you don’t have yet. Because when you start doing that, the devil starts speaking: “This is boring. This is just the same old.” And you start to lose your fire.

I remember one time we were in the park, before we were in a building at 5F Church. We were in the park and I was preaching and I was saying: “We will be in a stadium some day.” Anybody remember that?

I just have this memory, I think it was a couple times I spoke this, I prophesied this in the park. And that would have been in 2021 / 2022. Some of you might have looked at me like I was crazy, I don’t know. My point is, it looked like we had long ways to go. But look: Revival just expanded to an arena a couple weeks ago. Hallelujah! In just two years time from when I spoke that when we were in a park. We were having church in a park. We didn’t have a building ever.

So this is what is coming. GREATER AND GREATER AND GREATER AND GREATER AND GREATER THINGS.

This revival expanding! Territories! Getting so big, SO SO SO SO BIG. In this city!! And in this nation!! And in every nation!!

It is just a tiny glimpse what we have seen so far, compared to what is ahead. And soon even! So that being said, do not be weary in doing good. Do not be weary! This is such a privilege. This is so exciting what you are a part of, what we are a part of. The part we have to play in the body of Christ, in the kingdom of God, in this revival.
