The Great Shaking
This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick, Lead Pastor/Apostle of 5F Church, in Los Angeles on August 16, 2026. To watch the full video, scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.
The joy of the Lord is your strength! When you get to know Jesus and you walk with Him every day, for years, guess what? That joy increases! The joy of the Lord is your strength. So what does that mean about your strength? Your strength also increases with every day and every year! Then God brings the biggest testing ever, the devil comes with the biggest battle ever, but guess what? You are stronger than ever! You still have joy. And you have a greater joy, because you’ve grown in the spirit. You have a greater revelation that it is a privilege to suffer for Jesus. You have a revelation that lies are credited for a moment, but the truth endures forever (Proverbs 12:19). You have a revelation that whatever the devil intended for evil, God will use for good, for the saving of many lives (Genesis 50:20). You have a revelation that if God is for you, who can be against you (Romans 8:31)? You have a revelation that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). And who is that? The devil and his schemes, his attacks, the way he uses people, the Pharisees of today. Greater is He who is in you than the devil and those schemes, than the Pharisees. Greater! You have a revelation that you will have overwhelming victory through Christ (Romans 8:37). You have a revelation that it’s the Lord’s battle (Exodus 14:14). So why are you getting tired fighting? It’s time for you to rest and be still and worship God. We get to worship God as the Lord fights for us. And that’s where we enter in God’s presence, and in God’s presence there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). So there is joy in the battle. There is joy in suffering. There is joy in the valley of the shadow of death. There is joy in the face of evil.
The Bible says that the light has overcome the darkness (John 1:5). Do you know what happens when there’s greater evil coming at you, at the work of God, at revival, at the ministry you’re a part of? The light increases. The anointing increases. The glory of God increases. The level of victory increases. The bigger the battle, the greater the victory. The bigger the testing, the greater the reward.
So many people in the church become afraid when things are getting darker. Why are you afraid? This is a good thing! It means that the endtime revival must be here. It means that the light is increasing even more to overcome the darkness like never before. It means that those in darkness will see a great light, because God is going to show up in a greater way than we’ve ever seen—in such an undeniable way, moving in signs and wonders and miracles, doing greater miracles than we have ever seen.
If you want to come against the power of God, against the work of God that delivered Gabby, you are not on the Lord’s side. This is outrageous. This is disgusting. This is not acceptable.
Did you hear what she was delivered of? For free, by the way! Glory to God! She had agoraphobia, which means she could not leave her house because of fear. She had depression. She had panic attacks that were tormenting. She had to drop out of college. She was not able to work. She was almost on disability. She had an inability to do any kind of normal tasks. She thought she was under water sometimes. She thought she was upside down sometimes. She has suicidal thoughts. She shared with me even more in depth, that the devil would scream so loudly in her mind, “Do it now! Kill yourself now!” She had no peace, for years—not even a second of peace.
As she watched a video of 5F Church, in a couple seconds God delivered her from all of those things. It was Jesus Christ that did that. Witchcraft can’t do that. The devil can’t do that; he doesn’t want to do that. It wasn’t a person that did that. She was in her room. I didn’t even pray for her one-on-one. It was Jesus that did that.
Do you see why the devil fights so hard against this revival? Because how often do you hear about a miracle like this? I have never heard it like this before. I’ve heard God do so many signs and wonders, but I’ve never heard of someone having this level of torment in my life. And I’ve also never heard of God delivering that person from all of that torment in a couple seconds through a video. In the video that she watched, I didn’t even say, “Demon, go!” That’s the power of God! That’s the Bible coming alive, like we see with Apostle Peter, where people came under his shadow and all were healed and delivered (Acts 5:15). It doesn’t say that there was a whole ministry team that was laying hands and shouting and putting Bibles on their heads and interrogating them for an hour. It says they came under Peter’s shadow because he carried anointing. This is God’s way.
We can believe in the Bible or we can believe in the Christian culture of today. In the Bible, we see the examples of Peter and Paul. And it says, “They brought…,” so people recognized, “God has chosen to use Peter. He has gifted him in the body of Christ for healing and deliverance.” We are a body. Peter wasn’t doing everything. He wasn’t the only minister. He wasn’t the only apostle.
It says that those who believe, these signs shall follow: they shall cast out demons and heal the sick (Mark 16:17). It wasn’t only the ministers walking in the power of God. But he was anointed; he was gifted for the body, to bring healing and deliverance quickly to people, where even principalities had to go. In Ephesians 4:11-16, it says that when Jesus ascended, He poured out His spirit and He gave gifts to the body of Christ. These gifts were apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. God chooses to use vessels. They are gifts. He chooses to cast out demons and heal the sick through vessels of His choosing.
I have a prophetic message for you and for the body of Christ today: it is time to choose if you are on the Lord’s side or not. God has brought a massive shaking, like an earthquake in the spiritual realm, to the body of Christ, in a way that we have never seen in this generation. It’s been quite a while since there was a shaking like this.
Those of you who live in California have experienced an earthquake. When it happens, everywhere in the city, we all feel it together. We are all doing different things—we’re at our jobs or at home or with the kids. We’re doing different things, but all of a sudden God makes an earthquake happen, because He’s in control. All of a sudden, we’re not doing what we’re doing anymore. We’re not thinking what we’re thinking about anymore. We are all focused on one thing: What’s happening? It’s shaking!
It’s a sovereign act that God brings. We drop everything; we forget everything. We’re all focused on the one thing that God orchestrates. He brings a shaking. This is what’s happening in the spiritual realm: He is shaking the body of Christ! He is bringing a great shaking!
It is very prophetic that Gabby was shaking in the beginning of that video, and that video shook people and brought things to the surface. It started with God.
And that’s why we have joy here in persecution. We don’t say, “What’s going on? I can’t believe this is happening to me! I’m offended. I can’t believe this happened. I’m scared.” No! There is a prophet in this ministry, Prophet GeorDavie, and he hears from the Lord for the body of Chris, just like Moses specifically heard for the people. That’s why we need prophets. He’s given me prophetic words all this time. He prophesied that revival will break out beyond our wildest dreams and it would happen through a one-minute video, and that’s what happened. When the persecution first began a few months ago, he was so excited. He knew that God was going to use it as a catalyst. What the enemy intended for evil, God was going to use for good, for the saving of many lives.
That’s what happened for Joseph: a woman made up a lie and even provided what seemed like evidence, tearing his clothes and saying that he was trying to sleep with her when it was the opposite: she was the one with impure, evil intentions. The lie was credited for a moment, as he was thrown in jail. Before that, his brothers had thrown him in a pit to die because of jealousy, selling him to slavery. Joseph later said to his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended for good, for the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20). God used this all as a catalyst to mold Joseph’s heart, as a refining fire, but also to physically, geographically position him in the prison, where the cup-bearer would be able to tell Pharaoh that Joseph interprets dreams, so that Pharaoh could then bring him out of the prison to interpret his dream, which was the catalyst for Joseph to step into his promise.
There is a positioning of God through what the enemy intended for evil. It’s a great positioning to bring us to the promised land. And we are already seeing the fruit of it, because we’ve been seeing more harvest than ever before.
Nikky, the leader of the North Carolina small group, recently had an in-person gathering of the small group, and it was the biggest turnout they’ve ever had, by double! Prophet GeorDavie has also prophesied that God would give double for our trouble. He excitedly said, “Oh, this trouble that the devil is causing us—we’re getting double for our trouble!” Hannah and Brian, the South Korea small group leaders, recently shared that they recently had the biggest turnout ever at their small group gathering.
God is not afraid. He knows that people will see the truth. He’s not afraid of liars. And it’s so beautiful that He is using this great shaking to see who is on the Lord’s side. It’s testing time for the whole body of Christ.
Exodus 32:25
Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them go out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies.
Moses had gone up to be with the Lord on Mount Sinai, and God had given him a message. But the people got impatient, and the devil started speaking to them, and they were thinking things like, “I don’t know what happened to Moses. Maybe he just doesn’t care about us anymore. Maybe he died. Maybe he’s not who we think he is. We don’t know him.” They had followed Moses through the wilderness, and they didn't know where they were going. People could have been saying, “Maybe he’s a cult leader. Maybe he’s leading us to our death.” They just had to believe, from the signs and wonders and the character of Moses, that he was from God. God hadn’t appeared to them or spoken to them in an audible voice that “Moses is my servant!” No, they were following him into the unknown land in the wilderness.
Imagine if I said to all of you, “Okay everyone, pack up your bags, we’re going to go start walking through Nevada. God told us to go there.” That sounds crazy, but that was their life.
Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them go out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies.
What happened was, they built a golden calf. They decided they got bored and they wanted to worship another god. So, they decided to build a golden calf and worship that god and forget about Moses, forget about THE LORD of all Lords. That is what was happening.
Exodus 32:26-29
So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the Lord, come to me.” And all the Levites rallied to him. Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.’ ” The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. Then Moses said, “You have been set apart to the Lord today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed you this day.”
Right now, God has brought a testing: “Are you hot or cold? What is it going to be? I’m not going to force you. You make your decision.” Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). There comes a time when you need to take a stand, when God brings a testing and says, “It’s time to take a stand and choose. I let you be lukewarm for long enough, but that time is up. I have brought revival now. I am moving in tremendous power to set the captives free and heal the sick. I am not moving haphazardly and randomly. There is an order in which I’m moving. There are servants of God I’m moving through, to do these things and to release impartation to others so that I can use other servants of God. You have to get in line with my move. You have to get in line with revival. You can’t just say, ‘Oh, good for them’ and ignore it and then just go back to your own religious ways. You have to decide: Are you going to be for this work of God, this move of God, this revival? Are you going to support it? Are you going to be a part of it? Are you going to say ‘This is God’ or are you going to be against it? Are you going to be like the Pharisees?”
Do you see that happening right now? Where people who were lukewarm before, thinking bad things in their heart towards the work of God but not saying anything, now have to choose, HOT or COLD? Will you repent from the wickedness in your heart? Will you repent from having a form of godliness but denying its power? Do you want to repent or do you want to choose the devil's way?” That's what’s happening now. God is the one who brought this shaking.
There was another book signing video, from South Carolina, that reached around 6 million views on Instagram, and around 1,800 followers came through that one book signing video. But the Houston book signing video reached about 3.6 million views on Instagram, and do you know how many followers came through that video? 18,000! It’s not logical. Glory to God, because a lot of those people probably encountered God’s power for the first time and stepped into revival through that video.
Thank God for Mary Magdalenes of today who are unashamed, who know there will be a camera there, and they don’t care. They think, “Let it be for the glory of God.” 18,000 followers came through that video, and this is a sign that God’s hand was on this one specifically, like never before, to bring this great shaking that would bring many lukewarm ones to the hot side. Conviction is coming through these testimonies. God is interested in getting the lukewarm to come on the hot side.
So Moses came back from being with God and hearing from God on the mountain, and he found the people worshipping an idol. He had been with God for longer than ever, so he came with so much power of God, anointing, glory. He was shining with the glory of God, the anointing emanating from him. And these people are now acting weird, worshipping other gods. The same anointing that was on Moses is now being poured out upon the earth right now, in this revival. And this anointing is coming upon the church and revealing that people are worshipping other things than God. Eyes are now opening up everywhere, and people are realizing, “This person, I thought they were worshipping God, but it turns out that they were worshipping themselves,” because they care what people think more than what God thinks. They care about their own ego more than what God thinks of them. They care about clicks and views, about money. It’s like the verse that says, “They have a form of godliness but deny its power” (2 Timothy 3:5).
2 Timothy 3:1
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
These are the days we are living in: terrible times of wickedness, where you can’t even believe people are doing such wicked things.
2 Timothy 3:2
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents,
It’s seen more than ever now with social media, the things people will do for clicks and views to get money and fame. We also see people disobedient to spiritual parents, to parents and elders in the faith. There’s no respect for elders in the body of Christ today. There are young leaders and young influencers just doing their own thing, being disobedient to the way that’s being demonstrated. Since when have we treated people like this? Since when have we thrown stones at people like this? The way of Jesus is to not judge anybody: “Do not judge or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). God is the one who judges.
When the Bible talks about righteous judging, it’s talking about looking at the fruits of a minister to discern whether you should be planted under them or not. It’s not talking about being judgmental in your heart and taking the place of God to be a judge. But that’s what people do: they twist that Scripture. We know that because of other Scriptures such as, “Why are you looking at the speck in someone else’s eye when you have a log in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:3). Jesus didn’t even have a speck. Some people don’t even have a speck, but you have a log and you’re saying there is a much bigger log than the log that you have, but they don’t even have a speck. Jesus' words were also, “Those who haven’t sinned at all, you can throw a stone upon this woman” (John 8:7). This woman was doing something that was considered so evil and horrible and sinful in those days. But even then, whether you are right about this woman, this person, being so sinful or not, Jesus says, “If you have never sinned, only then can you cast a stone.” This the Jesus way. This is not too complex; this is very basic. But so many people have chosen to love themselves instead of loving God, and they’re believing a different gospel.
2 Timothy 3:2
…ungrateful, unholy,
There are people who are not grateful that they have children. They’re looking at someone who doesn't have children, who’s sacrificing their life for God, and they themselves have children, but they’re not grateful to the children. I see people who come against me, and they have beautiful children. Why don’t you spend time with your children? I wish I had children. It’s sad that people are ungrateful and that they spend their time tearing down people. You're blessed! Just be content. Don’t be ungrateful.
2 Timothy 3:3-5
… without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power.
They call what is good—like this woman being delivered and saved from probably committing suicide—evil. That’s what people are doing today, like I’ve never seen. These are the last days.
There is another translation that says, “having a form of godliness but denying the power of God that could actually change them.”
2 Timothy 3:5
Have nothing to do with such people.
God is doing a beautiful thing right now. He’s exposing, like never before, “Do not have anything to do with these people.” You were having things to do with them before, you were following them, you were being influenced by them. But I’m telling you, now I’m making it clear, “Have nothing to do with these people” that are like this: they have “a form of godliness but deny its power.” This shaking is a beautiful thing. It has to happen, because God loves His people, and His people didn’t know these things until the shaking came.
There are people who are confused, like how someone told Gabby to renounce the power of God that set her free. There are precious people like this who are confused. Things need to be clear: black and white, hot or cold, so that people aren’t deceived by those who are playing hot but are really lukewarm.
2 Timothy 3:5
… always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
That’s how people will be in the last days. They have a lot of biblical knowledge, they study the Bible, they’ve gone to Bible school, they teach the Bible, but they are never able to come to the knowledge of the actual truth. That’s what happened with the Pharisees. They had so much knowledge of the word of God, but they were never able to come to a knowledge of the truth because they clung to their old wine and to idolizing themselves.
2 Timothy 3:8-9
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth.
There are teachers—Christian leaders today—who oppose the truth.
They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far, because as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
That’s why we don’t worry when people falsely accuse us—because God makes sure that the truth is clear to those who want to hear the truth. There will always be the Pharisees who have ears but can never hear, but those are not our people. Those with pure hearts they will see.
2 Timothy 3:10-14
You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it.
You know the fruits, the heart, and the character of those you’ve learned from. You don’t listen to just anybody who doesn’t show the fruits of what you have seen. You know where you have learned the truth that you are convinced of.
Right now, God is bringing intense turbulence to see who is on His side.
Revelation 3:15-22
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot, so because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. Because you say, “I am rich, and have prospered and grown wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked [without hope and in great need]. [Hos 12:8] I counsel you to buy from Me gold that has been heated red hot and refined by fire so that you may become truly rich; and white clothes [representing righteousness] to clothe yourself so that the shame of your nakedness will not be seen; and healing salve to put on your eyes so that you may see. Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]. [Prov 3:11, 12; Heb 5:8, 12:5-7] Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me. He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant to him [the privilege] to sit beside Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down beside My Father on His throne. [1 John 5:5]. He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.
He says, “I counsel you to buy” these things: the refining fire, salve that can open your eyes, robes of righteousness. What does He mean “to buy”? He means to pay the cost. In the lukewarm way, there is no cost, no reward, no pleasing of God. I'm the hot way, there is a great cost and great reward in pleasing God and living in His will. People will hate you. The greater you’re used by God, the more people will hate you, the more people will persecute you, the more enemies you will have, but the more powerfully you will be used by God. But it’s worth it to please Jesus and to be a vessel that He can use to save, heal, deliver, equip, transform, and impart the anointing to. There is a cost. To be hot, there is a cost.
Stop being afraid of persecution, people of God. God says there's a cost: “I counsel you to buy these things.” Spiritually buy. Spiritually pick up your cross and accept that people will hate you, that people will persecute you. Say, “Yes and amen. Lord have your way.” Because what Jesus brings you is so valuable, so of course there’s a cost. And it’s a good thing that there's a cost, because this cost makes us value Him and value the anointing.
I see the devil working so hard to keep people from being delivered. He’s working hard. Both Gabby and Mirna—the one who told her about 5F and that Jesus delivers—were told to renounce me. I share these things so you can have an insight of how hard the devil is at work to keep people bound and to keep people from knowing the love of God and having abundant life and being used by Him to destroy the devil's kingdom. Until yesterday, I had never heard someone with such intense torment get delivered so quickly. And this cost that I go through, that we go through, the persecution, it’s worth it. It makes me value the anointing more. I hear about what God did for her and I say, “No wonder there’s a cost. I am privileged to pay the cost.” God's people must be free! The devil must be defeated in people’s lives. God must have His way in His church, in the bride, in the body of Christ! God must have His way to restore His power, to purify the bride, to deliver the captives, to heal the sick, to encounter His people, and to open up eyes to His love.
Get behind me, Satan! I will keep preaching! I will keep praying for the people who are oppressed and sick. I will keep casting out demons. I will keep releasing impartation of anointing. I will protect my heart! I will keep my peace and my joy. I will stay on fire for God! Devil, you fuel me to love God more. You fuel me to love His people more! To see how the devil fights—against me, against her to receive freedom—that makes me even more serious to fight the devil by being dangerous to his kingdom! To keep preaching with joy, with boldness, with courage! The cost is a joy to me!
It does something in you that nothing can do besides paying the cost. It makes you more serious about Jesus. It makes you love Him more. You start thinking about what He went through, how His body was beaten for us! He was hung on a cross to die. And people are just saying negative words to me—what is that compared to what Jesus has done for me? What Jesus has done for her? What Jesus has done for everybody? What is that? That’s nothing. He’s worthy. Let us not be babies; let us not complain. The apostles were beaten; they were all killed, except for one. Some were hung upside down, some were sawed in half. Why would we be wimpy when people speak words against us? Look what they did for us! They stood strong for the body of Christ. Let’s be strong for God's people. Let’s be strong for Jesus so He can have His way through us. Let’s firmly choose the Lord's side! Take your foot out of the lukewarm and firmly step on the Lord's side.
This is a prophecy from Prophet GeorDavie: “God is looking. Those of you speaking against His move: He sees. Those of you speaking against His precious Holy Spirit: He sees. He’s looking: cold, cold, they chose cold. He sees you: hot, hot, hot, hot. It’s time for my light to increase because you’re hot! It’s time for my light to increase in you because you are hot!”
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Only a few find it. Do not let others intimidate you. Do not let what seems like the majority intimidate you. As a believer, there are going to come times when God draws a line in the sand. And it will seem like: this is a narrow road. Before this shaking, you might have thought, “There are billions of Christians in the world.” But this shaking comes, and you find that a lot of these Christians have a form of godliness but deny the power. They’re cold. They’re not even on the Lord's side. They’re not even children of God. So suddenly, there will come a time, such as now, when it is real. You’re choosing to follow a narrow road. This is what God is asking now: choose the narrow road. Speak boldly about the truth of Jesus. Don’t be ashamed of the power of God! Don’t be ashamed of the new, beautiful ways He’s moving. Don’t be ashamed of His revival. Don’t be ashamed to stand with God! Don’t be ashamed to stand with His servants! In the time of Moses, only the Levites chose to stand with Moses, and others didn’t. Choose the narrow road. God is looking.
It’s time to choose, right now. God is looking: “Are you hot? Are you cold?” God has brought these events to see if you are hot or cold. This revival is for the whole the body of Christ. It’s time for the true people of God to get on board with God's move, to say yes to His revival, to say yes to His anointing, to say yes to people being delivered, to say yes to people being healed, to say yes to people being used by God in power, to say yes to the five-fold ministry, to say yes to apostles and prophets, and to say yes to surrender and persecution that comes with it!
