Revival Explosion
This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick, Lead Pastor/Apostle of 5F Church, in Los Angeles on May 10, 2026. To watch the full video, scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.
People may let you down in your life, but Jesus will never fail you. All of His promises are yes and amen. Every day that I’ve served God, I’ve seen Him be faithful. I’ve seen Him fulfill promise after promise. There may have been times I wanted the promise to come sooner, but it didn’t mean He wasn’t faithful. His timing was perfect, and I’m glad that He was in control, and not me, because He delivers promises in the most perfect timing—for all these reasons that are even beyond what we can imagine.
His faithfulness is perfect, and this is why we are wild and crazy for Jesus. What I've experienced is: the more that I serve God and the more that I follow Jesus, the more my revelation of His faithfulness increases, the more my heart grows for Him, the more I love Him, the more I can’t contain my love, the more I can’t contain my joy, the more I can’t contain my praise. Because I’ve tasted and I’ve seen the goodness of the Lord—day after day. I’ve tasted and seen the faithfulness of God—day after day, month after month, year after year—and He keeps getting better. He doesn’t change. His goodness doesn’t grow, because it’s as good as it could get; it’s infinitely as good as it could get, but our revelation grows. Our revelation of His goodness increases the more you serve God, the more you obey Him. He becomes bigger in your life; He becomes greater in your life; He becomes more faithful in your life because your eyes open up more to see in the spirit who He really is—just how faithful He is, just how great He is, just how loving He is.
Psalm 37:1-6
Do not worry because of evildoers, Nor be envious toward wrongdoers; For they will wither quickly like the grass and fade like the green herb. Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it. He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light, and your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun].
God will prove your innocence. He will prove that the false accusations about you were wrong. He will prove that He’s the one on your side, not theirs. He will prove that you are in right standing with God. He will prove that He is with you and backs you. He will prove that all the lies they spoke against you were not true. He will open up eyes and make the truth be known.
Psalm 37:6
He will make your righteousness like the light, and your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun].
“Judgment upon you” meaning you are judged as innocent. That judgment will come, where people will have to be silent. They will see the truth.
Psalm 37:7-9
Be still before the Lord; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him; Do not fret (whine, agonize) because of him who prospers in his way. Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and abandon wrath. Do not fret; it leads only to evil. For those who do evil will be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.
They will inherit the land that God has promised them. They do not see yet, but He has promised it. They will inherit it as they wait—as you wait—patiently for God to act. There’s a translation of Psalm 37 that says, “Wait patiently for Him to act.”
Psalm 37:10
For yet a little while and the wicked one will be gone [forever]; Though you look carefully where he used to be, he will not be [found].
So though you see the evil one prevailing—you see the evil one carrying out plans against you, trying to stop you and feeling like you’re being held back, there will come a time that it's put to an end. There will be a time that God will not allow that to happen anymore and you will inherit the land and the wicked will not prosper. Glory to God.
Psalm 37:11
But the humble will [at last] inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity and peace.
This is a word for you, people of God. This is the word for you, army of God.
Psalm 37:12
The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him [the wicked one—the one who oppresses the righteous], For He sees that his day [of defeat] is coming.
God sees the day. God doesn’t see ambiguously; He knows the day when the devil will be stopped. Just like God knew the day when the devil would be stopped from moving through Saul to try to kill David. Just like God knew the day when these false accusations against Joseph would end and Joseph had to come out of that prison. Just like God knew the day, on the third day, when Jesus would come out of the grave. Just like God knew the day in the upper room, on the day of Pentecost, that we would see the great triumph over the devil manifest, like never before, as Jesus became manifested, by coming into all of the people of God. The devil tried to kill Him, but instead he was multiplied he was increased. The power of God, His Spirit, was increased upon the earth. I was no longer confined to one man, but it was put in all of the sons and daughters of God.
Psalm 37:12
The Lord laughs at him.
Why is the Lord laughing at the devil and at the enemies that carry out the devil’s plans? Because He knows just how wimpy and how powerless they are compared to God’s might and power. God knows that He is the one who is in control, not them. God knows that it’s only because of His mercy and grace that He is allowing them to carry out their evil plans temporarily—because He’s using it for our good, to refine us, to make us more like Him, to make us stronger in faith, to make the light and the anointing in us greater. The joke is on the devil, all throughout the Bible. This is the biggest joke on the devil, the biggest slam dunk on the devil. What the enemy intended for evil, God intends for good.
This is what we see throughout the whole Bible, from the Old Testament to the New Testament: God slam dunking on the devil with this—turning for good what the enemy intended for evil. We see Him do it again and again—and we are seeing Him do it again now, in our day, in these days of the global revival. The Lord laughs at the devil.
People of God, it’s time to laugh at the devil. You are being fooled by the devil when you’re afraid of the devil. You’re being fooled by the devil when you’re discouraged by the devil. You’re being fooled by the devil when you’re losing faith and having doubt. You’re being fooled: the devil’s tricking you. He’s lying and you’re taking the lies as bait.
One of the greatest gifts God gave me when he fulfilled the promise of revival breaking out was that it increased my understanding of His faithfulness. It increased my understanding of how powerful God is. It increased my understanding and my revelation that God is in control. It increased my revelation of how dinky the devil is, how wimpy he is, how tiny he is, how defeated he is. The devil is under my feet. The devil is under your feet. We are not waiting for him to be defeated, the devil’s already been defeated. Jesus on that cross He defeated the devil once and for all. And now we are walking in the victory. We are living out the victory as we walk by faith. But many people forget to walk by faith; they try to walk by sight and they get played by the devil. But this victory is available for us! This life, where we laugh at the devil, where when the devil tries to do something to stop you, you laugh at him. That’s what we should do, “You’re defeated, devil! You can try all you want but this weapon that you're trying to form against me will not prevail. It will never prevail. You’re a joke, devil. You’re defeated. You’re wasting your time.”
One of the greatest gifts God did in His faithfulness, in His releasing the promises and fulfilling of the promises, was increasing my understanding of how powerless the devil is and how in control God is. That's one of the greatest gifts that occurred. It led to such a greater faith in me—to greater joy, peace, and contentment.
And this is one of the most exciting things that I’m so excited about for you, revival army! You are experiencing something that many of you have never experienced before. When revival broke out in 2021, it was just Jeanntal and I and Prophet Dr. GeorDavie who experienced this promise being fulfilled—this moment that is like out of the Bible, where you hear this wild prophecy, this wild promise that seems so impossible. You think, “How on earth could this happen?” And then you go years where it feels like you’ve actually gone backwards even instead of moving closer, and then suddenly, after you patiently waited, God acted.
God acted. Just like he acted when he made the walls of Jericho come down. Just like He acted with pulling Joseph out of the prison. Just like He acted with putting David on the throne at last. We saw God act in a suddenly moment where we went from our church of about two people some Sundays to our church exploding into a global ministry and revival breaking out. We went from not seeing any deliverances and only a total of a handful of healings over the years, to now seeing uncountable deliverances and healing—every single Sunday, at every single event, multiple times throughout the week. We are seeing demons being cast out left, right, up, down, I'm Australia, in Europe, in South America, everywhere. We went from not seeing any demons cast out to now millions being freed of demonic depression. We went from seeing only a small amount of healings to uncountable people being healed of so many things—suddenly! Oh, how I wanted to shout on the rooftops: “God is faithful!” And I knew this day would come when God would do it yet again. Because the big promises he has for this global revival, I’ve shared it with you in Catching the Vision. It’s a massive vision that God has for this global revival that’s taking place now. It’s a massive vision for this ministry, for 5F Church. It’s massive! It’s so much bigger than what we have seen thus far, even though what we have seen is shocking and so big.
And how do we get there? God! We wait patiently for God to act. And one day He acts. One day He brings a shift. One day He brings an explosion of His presence, an explosion of revival. By His spirit! Not by might, not by power, but by His spirit! He makes the walls of Jericho fall down in the spiritual realm. He bulldozes and He obliterates the strongholds of religion that the devil has put in America, the ways that the devil has tried so hard to blind people’s eyes from seeing the truth. God is God! He can open up people’s eyes! He’s God! If the devil can blind millions of people’s eyes, how much more can God open up millions of people’s eyes? How great is our God! The religious spirit is not more powerful than our God! Lies are not more powerful than our God!
John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
The devil is darkness. His schemes are darkness. His lies are darkness. The religious spirit is darkness. Jealousy moving in people is darkness. Pride moving in people is darkness. People making up lies, false accusations—that’s darkness. People trying to hold back their congregations from receiving the power of God, healing and deliverance—that is darkness. People dividing, instead of uniting—that is darkness. And the devil is behind all of this darkness. But how much greater is our God? How much greater is the light? The light overcomes the darkness! The light of Jesus will overcome every lie of the devil, every false accusation in your life. The light of Jesus will overcome every lie, every false accusation about our Jesus! Every lie about our Jesus the deliverer, Jesus the Anointed One, who anoints servants of God and moves through them today. Jesus, the light, will overcome every lie against Himself. His light will overcome every lie! These are lies against Jesus Himself—the move of God, the power of God. Who can overcome Jesus? Nobody! The truth is getting out, people of God! The truth is getting out!
When you think about Joseph, how he had false accusations about him—that’s why he was in prison, but it was temporary. Those lies could not hold back the truth! Those lies could not hold back God’s plans for Joseph’s life. Most importantlyThose lies could not hold back what God wanted to do through Joseph: to save the people of God.
You have to understand that this is not a joke. We are not playing games. This is the work of God we are talking about. This church you are a part of, 5F Church: this is the sacred, holy, mighty work of God on this earth. It is God’s work. And there’s nothing more important to God than His work. His work on this earth is how souls are saved from damnation in hell for eternity. This work of God on this earth is how people are delivered from oppression from the devil. It is how people are saved from sicknesses and pain and issues in the body the devil has put on them. This precious work of God is how people don’t just wander around on this earth, not fulfilling their purpose, but how they actually will fulfill their assignment on this earth. It’s how the power of God will move in their life and touch people and advance the Kingdom of God and lead many souls into the Kingdom.
This is not a game. This is the most precious, holy work of God. Devil, who do you think you are? Pharisees out there, who do you think you are, playing around with our God? I will boldly say it: This is the work of God! I did not call myself. We did not call ourselves. God called me. God called you. God called us. I never wanted this. I never wanted to be here. This is the holy, precious work of God. This is the calling of God. This is the heart of God. You see this precious 86-year-old man testifying: this is the precious love of God for him and his precious grandchildren. This is the love of God. I can’t think that up. I don’t know him. I can’t think, “Oh, I want to go pray for an 86-year-old man today. I want to somehow get this little boy to see Jesus.” I can’t do that. This is God! This is Jesus!
People who speak against God: What are you doing? This is not a joke. This is not a game. What are you doing, talking against God? You are talking against God and it is because of His grace that He doesn’t strike you down immediately. It is His grace for you. He gives you time. He gave Pharaoh time. He gave Saul time. He gave the other Saul, who became Paul, time. It is His grace. Don’t you see what that is? Don’t miss what He is doing. Don’t play; this is not a joke!
People of God, we have to have confidence in our Lord! When it looks like the devil is winning or people’s lies are winning, it’s just that God hasn’t acted yet. He’s giving them grace. This is the place where we wait patiently for Him to act. But you better believe that He will act! You better believe that He has acted this week. And we’ve got fire in our bones that we can’t contain, because of how our God has acted this week. And it’s just begun!
Psalm 37:14
The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow to cast down the afflicted and the needy, to slaughter those who are upright in contact, those with personal integrity and godly character.
Psalm 37:28
For the Lord delights in justice.
I say this again: Have any of you experienced injustice? I have! Personal injustice, false accusations that aren’t cleared up, that people are still thinking about you? I’ve experienced that! Have you experienced that? We’ve all experienced it, if you’re part of 5F Church. But do you know that the Lord delights in justice? The Lord delights in justice! He has not forgotten you. He has not forgotten you, people of God! The day of judgment hasn’t come yet. He’s going to judge you. He’s going to judge your innocence. I say, He’s going to judge your innocence! He’s going to judge our innocence. It’s like when you’re on trial and you’re innocent; you’re in court and it’s heavy, you’re having to defend yourself and people are speaking all these lies and you’re having to listen to it. It’s heavy and it's not fun. Instead of going out in the sunshine, you’re stuck in a fluorescent-lighted courthouse.
That’s what it’s like, people of God. That’s like what Joseph had to go through. That's what David had to go through. That’s what Jesus had to go through. That’s what the apostles had to go through. That’s what we have to go through. That’s what we’ve had to go through. But when you have Jesus, you have peace in the valley, you have peace in the wilderness. So even though we’re in that courtroom, we’re having peace, we’re having joy. But there comes a day of judgment, when decisions have to be made and the jury comes out and says, “This is the verdict: you are declared innocent!” And that day, you walk out of that courtroom, and it’s finished. It’s in the past and the world sees they were wrong about you. The world sees they were wrong about us! And that is the moment we step out in that glorious sunlight and we step into the land God has promised us. The innocent, the godly will inherit the land that God has promised, the promised land of milk and honey that is flowing. Abundance! Prosperity! Peace! Joy!
And it doesn’t end there:
Psalm 37:28
For the Lord delights in justice and does not abandon His saints, His faithful ones.
He does not abandon. He does not forget. He does not forget the tiniest little lie about you. He does not forget it and you will see justice. We will see justice, hallelujah!
Psalm 37:28-34
They are preserved forever. But the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off. The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. The mouth of the righteous proclaims wisdom and his tongue speaks justice and truth. The law of his God is in his heart. Not one of his steps will slip. The wicked lies in wait for the righteous and seeks to kill him. The Lord will not leave him in his hand or let him be condemned when he is judged. Wait for and expect the Lord and keep His way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; [in the end] when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
Psalms 68:1-3
Let God arise and His enemies be scattered! Let those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked and guilty perish before the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad. Let them be in good spirits before God. Yes, let them rejoice with delight.
These are the days we are living in now. This is the shift that has come, this explosion of revival. We are seeing our mighty God arise! He’s arising! Our God is arising! When it’s not God’s timing, you can’t force it. But when it is God’s timing, nothing can stop it!
Let your eyes open up, people of God, of how faithful our God is. So often people are wondering, “Why isn’t it happening yet? I think maybe God forgot. Maybe I’m not doing enough. I’m confused. It feels like the devil is powerful. It feels like he’s winning. It feels like he’s holding something back,” when simply it’s not God’s timing yet and you can’t force it. It’s time for your eyes to open up and see the faithfulness of God. It’s time for your eyes to open up and have clarity about the goodness and faithfulness of God. It’s time for your eyes to open up and see how really defeated the devil is in your life, in our lives! It’s time to not be confused anymore. It’s time to not wonder, “Where is God?” It’s time to see with clarity that your God is reigning, that He is in control, that he is faithful and good, and you just have to patiently wait on Him to act. That’s it.
And there’s nothing to fear. I remember, whenever lifting would happen, I would be a little worried and think, “The people who are jealous are going to be even more jealous now, which means they are going to be even more wicked now, which means, they are going to try even more evil schemes now,” because I’ve been through that. I’ve seen that happen. I’ve seen that trend. So when there was some sort of lifting, I’d be a little nervous. But the thing is, they can try all they want, but no weapon formed against you will ever prosper (Isaiah 54:17). When it’s God’s timing, nothing can stop it! People can come up with even more evil plans, but God will arise even more! God will open up eyes even more to see the truth. People can come up with even more disgusting false accusations, but God will open up even more eyes that didn’t see before to see the full truth. God will increase His anointing. He will increase His revival to where the light continually overpowers the darkness!
There’s no need to fear! There’s no need to let the devil rain on your parade of joy and rejoicing in the Lord, because he’s a big fat loser! He is a loser today. He is a loser tomorrow. He’s a loser next week. He’s a loser next month. He’s a loser all 2026. He’s a loser in 2027. He’s a loser five years from now. He’s a loser ten years from now. He’s a loser in your child's life. He’s a loser in your grandchild’s life. He will be a loser every single day of your entire life! Hallelujah!
Psalm 68:3
But let the righteous be glad; let them be in good spirits before God, Yes, let them rejoice with delight.
This is our time, people of God, to rejoice with delight! This is what God wants for us. He wants us to rejoice in delight! This is good and pleasing to God. This is the glory of God. The more joy we have, the more our light shines. The more joy we have, the more eyes will open up. This is how God is opening up eyes. Because the joy of Jesus can’t be faked. It is so real. People see it and they see it's real. They see it's true. They see it's authentic. They see, “This is God. I want this. I need this. I don’t believe these lies anymore because I’ve never seen a light like I’ve seen in you. I’ve never seen a joy like I’ve seen in you.” Be joyful, people of God! Be joyful, people of God!
2 Samuel 6:20
David went back to bless his house, but Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him.
David was being chased down by Saul. Saul was trying to kill him for many years but David kept believing that God would be faithful to fulfill the promise. David kept believing that God would be faithful to fulfill the promise that he would be the anointed one, the anointed king. And the reason God had anointed him as king is because David was a man after His own heart, and the Bible says that God knew that David would do all that God wanted him to do. He knew that David would be obedient, that God's plans for His people could go forth. The reason God wanted David in the position of king was all for the sake of God’s people. Because that is how God could move through David to then touch His people and bless His people and so that the people would worship God and turn to God. In the time of David, for many years Saul was reigning and he was being disobedient to God and he wasn’t prioritizing the presence of God, the ark of the covenant. Finally, when God opened up the eyes of so many people who were on Saul’s side, thousands and thousands defected from Saul and joined David’s army because they saw God was really with him and they wanted God's will to be done, for him to be king. So came on David's side, and that is how the victory came. That was the catalyst for David to be on the throne as anointed king. And when David became anointed as king, one of the first things he did was bring the ark into the city. The presence of God had been neglected and now he was bringing it into the city.
This reminds me of so much of today in the church. Purity has been neglected. Being after the heart of God has been neglected. The power of God has been neglected. Selfishness and pride have been in the church so much; impurity in the hearts and going about what you want to do. Leaders going about what they want to do for their own selfish gain. Christians going through the motions, being lukewarm. It’s like we’ve been living in the times of Saul, and now it’s the time of David, where we are a people after God's own heart. And when we are able to inherit the land that God has promised us. And God will be able to do what He wants to do in His church; He will be able to purify His church. He will be able to set the captives free all over the world!
People are being free right now all over the world, but not to the extent that God wants it to be. There will be millions of people who will be delivered from demonic oppression, who will encounter the love and power of God, and that will lead them into true surrender for the first time in their lives. They will be truly saved, and they will walk in their purpose on this earth. They will walk as powerful vessels of God, and they will fulfil their purpose on this earth. How many Christians are fulfilling their purpose on this earth? Not many! God wants them to fulfil their purpose on this earth, so that many more may come into the Kingdom of God. That is what will happen when the army of God can take its place and can inherit the land God has promised. This is what God is doing now. This is what God has promised, and He is acting now. Just like He acted for David, He is acting now.
In the Bible it says David was dancing undignified; he was dancing with all of his might. He had waited on the Lord for so many years. He had gone through so much injustice, but he kept believing in God. And after so many years, he saw the promises fulfilled. He saw the faithfulness of God, like he had never experienced before. He saw justice. He saw victory. And the joy in his heart was like no one had experienced, because no one had experienced what David went through.
I have this experience again today, and I had it in 2021. I said, “Lord, it is because of your goodness that I went through hard things/ Now the joy I feel is all worth it, because I kept believing, I kept believing, I kept believing you would come through. And I’m seeing you come through now, after waiting so long.”
There was a cost, so this victory, the breakthrough, is more valuable. It is because of the goodness of God that we go through hard things—through the wilderness, through persecution, through false accusations, through waiting for longer than we want—because we get to experience the great value of His goodness and the value of His promises. We get to have revelation of the value of His precious promises, of the promised land and that fills us with so much more joy than anybody can experience in this world. This is how the light of Jesus pours out of us so brightly, with this great joy, with this great revelation of how faithful our God is.
There are so many people who say, “Yes, God is faithful, God is good,” but we get to scream from the depths of our heart so that people can feel something. When you go on a TV show, people can actually feel something come out of you, because it’s real—this joy, this zeal, this passion, this belief you have in God, in His goodness and faithfulness! It’s so real! Heaven becomes so real in your heart. Heaven becomes so real in your life, and it flows out of you, and heaven touches people. The presence of God, the power of God touches people. That’s the oil that comes out of you, that only can be produced with a cost, with suffering, with hardship. God is faithful! Hallelujah!
2 Samuel 6:20
David went back to bless his house, but Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him. She said, “The king of Israel did not honor himself today. You took off your clothes in front of your servants’ girls. You were like a fool who takes off his clothes without shame.”
David was dancing so wildly that he didn’t care what he looked like. It wasn’t that he was being inappropriate or immodest, but he was so undignified and dancing so wildly before the Lord because every part of his being wanted to shout praises, to dance with all his might. He couldn’t think, “Is my outfit okay? Is my hair looking good? Are the eyelashes okay?” He couldn’t be thinking of that! All he could do was praise God with his whole being. The joy of the Lord was so great in him.
His wife didn’t understand. She thought he looked weird, that he was crazy. She didn’t have the revelation.
2 Samuel 6:21
Then David said to Michal, “The Lord chose me, not your father, or anyone from his family. The Lord chose me to be leader of his people, the Israelites. So, I will continue dancing and celebrating in front of the Lord.”
There are songs today written about David’s praise and joy and celebration. His praise and his joy for the Lord is in the Bible. The light of God is seen through David for millions of people. And my message for you today is that God wants to do this through you. You’re like Davids of today. This fire, this joy, is here to stay! It’s just the beginning. It’s here to stay! This is the glory of God! God is drawing people into the Kingdom, opening up the spiritually blind eyes through your David-like joy, your fire.
Last Sunday was the genuine fire of the Holy Spirit, and I felt the Lord leading me this week to go overtime to share behind the scenes. Meagan happened to be with me so much and was able to just get her phone out a lot and document it, and I felt the Lord leading me to share with more people, to release the joy, the fire. And I’m seeing people commenting, being lit up. This is how the darkness is overcome: by the joy! We triumph with our joy! This is the Jesus way. We triumph over the hate, the evil plans, the lies. We prevail! We triumph with the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10)! The joy of the Lord gives us supernatural strength to defeat every scheme of the devil, every lie of the devil. What God released this last Sunday was his fire, his joy upon you. This is the reward to you for being faithful ones, for being loyal to Jesus, for standing strong as warriors of God. This is the reward. But He’s putting this in you so you can be the light of the world exponentially more than you have ever been. This is how the eyes will open up. This is how the church will grow; the revival army will grow. This is how people will be drawn—by this great joy!
Let your light shine! Let your joy shine! Let your praise shine! Protect this joy! The devil is defeated! He can try to take your joy, but don’t let him! Because he’s a loser every time. You have to know the season. This is not the season of wilderness right now. God is arising! So have even more joy! It’s not like, “Well, God will use this for good someday.” It’s not that season right now. Your God is doing so many exciting things. Do not let the devil take your focus off of what God is doing. Guard your heart! Keep this joy alive! And let your light shine!
We are going to be a people of praise like never before. That’s the mandate God is giving, because He is ready. He’s arising right now! He’s ready to bring a great increase. He’s doing this now. But He needs us to be a people of praise. He needs us to be people of wild praise, day in and day out. As we keep our light shining, He keeps bringing in the harvest. So, we are going to praise God like never before, with all of our heart. He is worthy.
