Apostle Kathryn Krick Preaching at 5F Church

Preparation for the Best Year Yet

prophecy sermon

This message was shared by Apostle Kathryn Krick, Lead Pastor/Apostle of 5F Church, in Los Angeles, on January 4, 2026. To watch the full video, scroll to the bottom of this post. We pray this teaching blesses you and equips you to walk as a powerful vessel of God.

Last Sunday, I shared with you the prophetic word of 2026, that there is going to be a mighty wind of revival. God is going to be supernaturally blowing a mighty wind in the spirit that will make the revival that is already here increase and elevate to new heights. And we will see God move like we have never seen Him move before. We will see Him do new miracles, new signs, new wonders. We will see a greater anointing. We will see more people come into the Kingdom than ever before. We will see God open new doors that He hasn’t opened yet until this year: new doors in media, new doors everywhere that will lead to this good news of Jesus Christ and this good news that revival is now! It’s here. That this good news will spread to many more people, for them to hear this good news around the whole world.

This word of the year is for the revival army, for the move of God, our church. God is increasing this revival. But also within this word of the year is a word that there will be a blessing, an increase upon your personal life, where you will see your dreams come to pass. Some of your dreams will come to pass this year. It is time for your dreams to become reality this year. This is one of the ways that revival will increase—because the brighter we shine, the more eyes can see and therefore be opened in the spiritual realm to see Jesus Christ, that He is alive and that He is Lord and that He brings healing and deliverance and abundant life. God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others. He blesses us so we can shine more to lead many more into the Kingdom.

There are more blessings and dreams to come to pass that you should expect this year. So today I’m going to be teaching you how to see this word come to pass in your own personal life, and also collectively, as a revival army, how we can see this word come to pass. I’m going to be sharing some bullet points, some steps of how to see this word come to pass throughout this whole year.

Think Bigger and Adjust Your Vision

The first thing you must do is: Think bigger and adjust your vision.

God’s vision is bigger than yours. A few weeks ago I shared a message here at 5F Church called, “Catching the Vision.Meagan Embed link to sermon Catching the Vision Many of you need to return to that message and watch it throughout this year, to renew your mind and know what God’s vision is for this move of God and also for your personal life, because you are a revival warrior in this army of God, in this move of God. God’s vision is so massive for this move of God, for the global revival, for 5F Church. There are no limits to what God can do, and we are the Joshua generation. We are the generation who actually step into the promised land, so that means there comes a time—and we are already starting to see it—when the devil cannot hold us back, when he cannot hold back the move of God. We’ve already seen that, but this is going to increase.

All throughout the word of God, in the stories of the heroes of faith, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, we see the same theme of God anointing a person or a people, His people, to be lifted for His glory, to have dominion, and to fulfill God’s plans. And then you see this theme of the enemy working through people, making them jealous, envious, and hateful, and doing anything in their power to try to stop the anointed servants of God, to try to stop the anointed people of God, the Israelites—to try to stop them in their tracks, or to try to at least hold them back. We see this theme again and again. But every single time we see that they can’t stop God’s plans; they can’t stop God’s anointed ones. Sometimes it feels like they can, and God can allow them to stop or stifle with what seems like delay for a season of time, but that always comes to an end, every single time.

The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for a while, but guess what? They indeed made it in the Promised Land. The Joshua generation stepped into that Promised Land when the walls of Jericho came down. Joseph was held back for a while by his brothers, by others who accused him of trying to sleep with a woman; he was thrown in the pit and he was put in a prison. But that season came to an end. No devil, no person, could hold back Joseph from fulfilling God’s plan for his life, from being an anointed chosen vessel in the second highest position in the land.

The devil, through Saul, tried to hold David back from being the anointed king, and there was a season where it felt like he was being held back, but that season came to an end, didn’t it? And in God’s perfect timing, He supernaturally brought him victory and lifted him, for God’s glory, to be the anointed king that he was called to be, that was prophesied upon his life.

It seemed like the devil was holding back Jesus when he was persecuted, imprisoned, put on the cross, when he was in the grave. But the grave and the devil could not hold back Jesus from rising from the grave, from saving us from our sins, from releasing the Holy Spirit upon us and giving us salvation and abundant life. Hallelujah!

So we have to adjust our vision to God’s vision, which is big. The vision is, “Nothing can hold back God’s plans.” It doesn’t matter the enemies; it doesn’t matter what people say; it doesn’t matter what people do; it doesn’t matter what people scheme—it does not matter. They can’t do anything; they cannot stop God’s plan. And God has chosen you—He has chosen this revival army to lead in the body of Christ, to possess the land He has given us, to take our dominion as children of God and to walk in His power, to set the captives free, to heal the sick, and to preach the good news in totality: to preach the full good news of Jesus Christ.

So he has called all of you, He has called this revival army to MASSIVE things, extraordinary things—so out of the ordinary, so above-average things. So you need to come up higher. You need to catch God’s vision for this revival army, for this ministry at 5F Church, which also means for your personal life, because you are an important part of this move of God. And when we all catch the vision together, we fly very high. If only half of us catch the vision together, we fly half as high. So that’s why it’s so important that you catch God’s vision, that you remind yourself of that word I shared a few weeks ago of God’s big vision. You need to expect that this year He will do so many greater things in this ministry at 5F Church, in this revival army—so many greater things than what we have seen. And He is already showing this to us in this second week of 2026, on January 9, at Revival is Now São Paulo. We had more people registered than we’ve had for any event, glory to God. The registration is so high that we had to get a stadium, and God has given us funds that we haven’t seen before, that we didn’t imagine were possible for this stadium. So already, the second week of this new year of the mighty wind of revival, we are seeing God’s promise being fulfilled by having a Revival is Now event in a stadium. There are so many people accepting God, accepting His power, accepting His ministry of deliverance, accepting His move, that we need a stadium. This is how great the acceptance of the Lord is. This is how great the victory is over the devil and the Pharisees’ schemes. This is how great the victory is. If this is happening the second week of this new year, and this is just the starting point!

So you all need to think bigger. You need to renew your mind to God’s vision which I have shared. Renew your mind continually of this big vision because there will come a time when God will say, “We’re kicking things up a notch. We’re going to run faster; we’re going to fly higher,” and you’ve got to be ready or else you’ll be left behind. By “left behind” I mean not being as big a part of this move of God as God wants you to be, not being the leader that He’s calling you to be, not being on the front lines like He’s calling you to be. Like when He wants you to be on the front lines and we start running but you trail back to the back of the pack. So you have to be in the ready position because God is ready to move like we’ve never seen with this mighty wind. Lift your wings out, your arms out, so you can catch the wind. Get ready!

There was a season when God allowed the Israelites to be in slavery under the oppression of Pharoah; God allowed that, and it was a long season. He allowed them to be oppressed and in slavery, but there came a time, one day, when they were slaves no more—when God freed them and immediately called them to make their way to the Promised Land. He called them to walk in dominion and be leaders on this earth, to show, “This is the way—following God and serving God—this is the way.”

See Yourself Correctly

The second step for 2026, to see this word come to pass, is: You need to see yourself correctly.

Galatians 4:6-7

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

You are no longer slaves, people of God. You are no longer slaves to people's lies and false accusations. We, 5F Church—we, army of God—are no longer slaves to people’s lies and false accusations. We are no longer slaves.

You are no longer slaves to the spirit of religion. You are no longer slaves to the skeptics. You are no longer slaves. By that, I mean: the spirit of religion has tried for years, in this revival, to hold back this move of God. It’s tried to hold back people from knowing the truth. It’s spoken lies so that people would be skeptical and confused, and not come and receive. It’s spoken these lies so that the demons inside people could have ammo to repeat these lies in people's minds, to try to hold people back from coming and being free.

Without the persecution, that spirit of religion, this revival army would be much more massive by now. But it's all about God’s perfect timing. It’s coming soon, when this wind will just skyrocket this move of God. Glory to God! I’ve given this example before that my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie, gave me. This was about two years ago, and in my heart I was wondering, “When will the other promises come to pass?” He had spoken such big prophecies—even the promise of the stadium, for example, that I was believing in and waiting on for years, since 2021. Two years ago, in 2024, I was waiting on promises I hadn’t seen happen yet—for this spirit of religion to really be defeated in a bigger way than I had seen so far. And Prophet GeorDavie said to me, “The devil knows that his time will be up, when he won’t be able to reach you or the move of God.” He said, “It’s like dogs that are biting at your feet. But there will come a time where they will be biting and just biting the air because God will lift you higher, way higher.” Hallelujah!

There will always be scoffers, haters, skeptics, and Pharisees of today. There is a time when you feel their bites, and it feels like they’re doing something. But then there comes a time when they’re just yapping; they're just noise with no effect, because God just keeps revealing Himself and the balance flips. The evidence of Jesus in His move is too big, and people aren’t as easily swayed by the lies and false accusations of people anymore. Glory to God, I’ve seen God do this every year. Every year, fewer people are pulled away by the devil's lies. Year after year, I’ve seen that lifting for God’s glory. Praise God.

You are no longer a slave. You are God's anointed child of God who has an inheritance. You are a leader in God’s revival army, whom He has called to possess the land, just like the Israelites. You are the Joshua generation: chosen people of God, anointed leaders in God’s revival army. That is who you are. You are no longer slaves to that spirit of religion. It's no longer time to be troubled by people who persecute you. It’s time to not let them get to you anymore. Don’t let them get to you anymore. You’re no longer a slave. Know who you are! Know who you are in Christ!

You must possess this land. This land is yours. This is your inheritance. This is our inheritance. This is what God has promised us. This is who we are. We are walking in the truth. We know who our God is. We know what He’s shown us. We know the truth. We know the new wine. We know the preciousness of God’s power. We can see in the spiritual realm. We know that those with false accusations, they’re the Pharisees of today. We know it! Stand firm in the truth so that nothing is holding you back, so that you can fly with Jesus. Of course there will be jealousy. Of course the devil’s not going to be happy. Of course! As the lifting increases, the jealousy increases. Be prepared. Stay focused. Keep flying high. Remember who you are.

Anointed ones can be tempted sometimes to adopt the slavery mentality that the Israelites had. They were so used to being slaves that most of them did not go to the Promised Land. They chose to adopt that slavery mentality rather than let it go and adopt how God saw them and remind themselves of who they are. Those who are anointed can be tempted to see their oppressors as so big and powerful. There can be a temptation to get so used to feeling like those who oppress you are more powerful. You go through seasons when they put you in the pit, and God allows it. They put you in prison, and God allows it. You’re running for your life, like David hiding in the cave, because God allows it for a season.

You have to always renew your mind to this: “That was a season. God was allowing it for my refining fire. This does not define me. That season is done. I need to stop getting worried about what the devil is going to do next.” Stop that and start walking as a victor. “The dogs will always yap, but I’m high above them, and I’m not bothered by it. I’m walking in victory now. I’m not just believing the victory will come; now I’m walking in victory.”

This is the year we are walking in victory like never before—not walking in victory knowing we’ll see the victory coming in the future. No, we are walking in victory now. We are possessing the land now. It’s time to be confident in God’s mighty hand to bring you victory—confident that He will back you up and confident that He will open up doors for you because you are a surrendered vessel that He can use. It’s a godly confidence, knowing who you are and knowing that because you are surrendered (and I’m speaking this to those of you who are surrendered, and if you’re not surrendered, it’s time to surrender today), you need to be confident that He sees your heart. You need to be confident that He has truly anointed you, that He wants to use you as a powerful vessel of God in this revival army, that He wants you. He wants to use you to knock on big doors and open up big doors for His big move. God wants to use some of you in your obedience, in your service, in your knocking on doors. That’s because your obedience and your faith directly translate to God lifting the whole move of God, the whole revival, to new levels.

This is a team effort—not for one person or two people. The lifting that God brings is because of one person's obedience to knock on the door so God could open it, and because another person sacrificed big time, and God was able to lift the whole revival army. I’ve seen this happen. I’ve seen individuals step up with big faith, with obedience, in this revival army. Many of you have stepped up with big faith, with obedience, with sacrifice. And I’ve seen the shift happen through each person’s obedience and faith, through their service, through their contribution.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Luke 10:19

Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.

In the second verse, Jesus is speaking to His disciples—not just to any believer, but to true servants of God, true children of God who have surrendered their lives, who have picked up their crosses to follow Jesus. So He could entrust them with anointing, with a high level of authority. And it was the true anointing, true authority. This is what God has given you. You possess this authority. You possess this anointing, and God will amaze you.

A few weeks ago, I was writing Christmas cards. It was a Saturday, and I had so much to do. My family was coming Monday, and I still needed to prepare for the sermon. I was writing, and my hand was getting really tired writing the card, and this testimony really blessed me, that people were healed just reading the card I wrote. Thank you Jesus, glory to God! When I was writing the Christmas card, I wasn’t thinking that anything was going to happen, other than touching their heart. I share this example to say: remember that you carry anointing; you carry authority. So when you do simple things, you won’t feel anything. I didn’t feel anything as I was writing that card, except for a hand cramp. But God has given me anointing. He had given me authority.

You need to know the power and the authority that you possess. If you are surrendered to God, if you are doing your best to please Him and follow Him and obey Him, and if you’re planted at a church where God's power is, you have been given true anointing and authority. You possess it. It’s in you. So you need to see yourself rightly, and you need to know, “God is calling me to walk in dominion in my sphere of influence, in the sphere of my territory that He’s given me, in my domain.” That's your workplace. Youth, that’s your classroom, your school, your college. For many, it’s your home. And for a lot of you, when you’re traveling, it’s whoever you’re interacting with: the person next to you on the plane, the person you talk to at the nail salon or the hair salon or the grocery store. You’re called to walk in dominion.

Whatever giftings God has given you, whatever He’s calling you to do, however He’s calling you to serve God, know that He’s given you dominion. He has given you anointing. So take your job seriously: to walk in dominion and use this power He has given you correctly. Don’t sleep on what He's given you. Knock on the doors. Make the effort. Speak up. Testify. Take time to meditate, to be creative. Many of the ways that God is going to open up doors in this revival is through your creativity. For example, on social media, thinking, “How can we get this message out there where people will see it and value it, for their eyes to open up? How can we showcase what God is doing so that people don’t miss it, so that people stop and look? How can we shine our lights brighter?”

God is going to be flooding people with creative ideas in all different ways, to share this good news. Just like the ideas of spreading flyers was a precious, creative idea somebody had, as well as the car magnet, and the bake sales and lemonade stands that many 5F kids have been doing. These are all examples of creative ideas the Holy Spirit has given because someone took the time to meditate and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them and give them that creative idea. So God gives you this dominion and authority, but you need to take time and meditate continually. “Lord, how can I use this anointing and authority? How do you want me to spread this good news so more people can hear and see what you’re doing?”

You must also walk confidently in your dominion because not everyone will agree with you. But you have to know the mission God sent you out to do and walk confidently in this, like Caleb and Joshua, who thought, “God says He’s giving us this land, so we can take the land. It doesn’t matter what enemies oppose us. We’re going to do what God is calling us to do. We’re going to possess the land. We can do this!” They were not giving in to the fear of man or the opinions of others.

Have Faith in God's Power and in His Favor That Are with You

That leads to my next step: Have faith in God's power and His favor that are with you.

Numbers 13:1

The Lord said to Moses, “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.”

Moses then said, “God told me this. This is our direction. Go scout out the land.” God spoke to Moses and Moses delivered the word. This is God’s main way of sharing corporate, directional words to the body of Christ: through a vessel, a prophet, through the prophetic anointing.

Numbers 13:27-30

They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.” Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

The rest of the Israelites don’t agree with Caleb. They’re doubting and being disobedient to God because God had said, “Go, I will give you the land.”

Numbers 14:24

But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.

God was ready to bring them into the land. Caleb believed the word of God that came through Moses: “I’m giving you this land!” So we too must believe the word that God has spoken! The seasons have shifted! We are not being complacent; we are flying high with Jesus now to new heights. It doesn’t matter what enemies there are, what they say or what they do. We are focused on the assignment God has given us and we believe that we will possess the land, no matter what!

God is calling you to really believe—to have faith in His power to make everything possible. Things will seem impossible. Raising money for the stadium for Revival is Now São Paolo blew my mind! God surprised me. So things may seem unlikely. You might think, “How can this happen? God is calling us to this, but how can this happen, because of this circumstance and this circumstance?” BUT GOD! God’s power is making everything possible! And His power has always been here, but it wasn’t the right timing yet. It wasn’t the right season yet. You need to keep remembering the season we are in. Now it’s time that we see God’s power do the impossible like never before!

We’ve seen God’s power deliver person after person, do miracle after miracle, heal person after person, even raise the dead! We’ve seen Him do it time and time again. But now it’s time for us to see God’s power in new ways: to elevate His whole move to new heights and quiet the scoffers and enemies like never before!

His favor is with you. When you knock on these doors, they will open, because His favor is upon you! It’s time to have confidence in His supernatural favor like never before. It won’t make sense. You will think, “How did this door open?” Because you are favored by God! This is God’s plan: He has led you to knock on this door so He can open it. There’s no question whether He will open it or not. His favor is upon you. It will open!

Deuteronomy 28:12

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but will borrow from none.

In the past few days, we have seen rain like I’ve never seen since I moved to Los Angeles in 2013. We’ve seen extraordinary amounts of rain, out of the ordinary. God is opening up the heavens this year. He is sending rain upon your land, and to bless all the work of your hands. The doors are opening because God is blessing the work of your hands. Have this confidence this year, “God is blessing the work of my hands. What I do is blessed. What I do is favored.”

You make a small effort, and God does so much more than the effort you put into something. You make a huge effort, and God does SO MUCH MORE than the effort you put into it.

Think Positively, Knock on Doors, and Ask God

The next step is: Think positively, knock on doors, and ask God.

James 4:2

Yet, you don’t have what you want, because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it, because your motives are all wrong. You want only what will give you pleasure.

Last week I read a Scripture that says, “Knock, and the door will be opened. Ask, and you will receive” (Matthew 7:7). Keep on knocking. The door must open up. This is a principle of God, that when you ask Him for something that is in His will, with the right motives, you will receive it.

I’ve seen God do this in my life. I don’t ask Him for things randomly. I ask Him for things when I feel a strong urge of the Holy Spirit. Last year I asked for things that seemed too big, that seemed crazy to ask, and I’ve seen Him answer all of these things exactly—some things in great detail! This year I received something I asked for in very vivid detail, and I received it the exact week, a year later, that I asked for it. When you ask God for something, He will give it to you, when it’s His will and when you have the right motives.

This is what I have been sharing lately about desires of your heart, how God will fulfill desires of your heart when you delight in Him. There are certain things He has put on your heart—they didn’t come out of nowhere. You have certain promptings to pray, to ask for something. I’m speaking about serving God in this move of God, and I’m also speaking individually for your own personal lives. The brighter you shine, the more people are brought into the Kingdom. And one of the ways you shine is from God’s blessings upon your life. You are going to feel this urge to ask God for something, for things having to do with serving Him in this work of God and also for your personal life. He will answer them because He is leading you, in His timing, to ask for things.

This thing that I asked God for—I’ve wanted it for years, but I didn’t feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit to ask for it until a year and a half ago. For certain things, you are going to feel a prompting to ask for it because the Holy Spirit is putting it on your heart: “Knock on this door now because I’m going to open it. Go to that door and knock on it and ask me and I will answer.”

James 4:2

You don’t have what you want, because you don’t ask God for it.

This is saying: we need to come higher to align ourselves with God’s vision. Lift your faith so you can hear the prompting of the Holy Spirit, “Ask for this big thing!” You have to have faith. You have to ask for it, so He can give it to you. You have to knock on the door so it can open.

When you ask, you don’t get it, because your motives are all wrong.

This is saying: you’ll get it when you have the right motives. This Scripture shows this powerful principle, that when we ask God for something with pure hearts and in His timing, He will answer.

Ask God for things this year! Ask God for doors to open, as He leads you. And keep thinking positively: “This is the year of the mighty wind of revival, when doors will open up, when dreams will come to pass.” Keep thinking positively, so that your faith can be high enough to attract the miracles.

Allow God to Stretch Your Capacity, and Be Willing to Do More for God

The last step is: Allow God to stretch your capacity, and be willing to do more for God.

2 Corinthians 9:10

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

God is the one who gives you all the seed you have—all the money you have, but also all the abilities that you have and the capacity to do all that you’re doing. He is the one who gives it to you. But He’s also the one who will increase you. He is also the one who will give you more, when you’re obedient. He’ll give you more seed to sow. He’ll give you more abilities. He’ll give you new strengths that were once weaknesses when you put your hand to work, so He can bless the work of your hands. And He is also the one who will increase your capacity to do more.

In 2021, once revival broke out, I traveled every single week except for three weeks. I traveled to twelve nations the first year, and many states. I would come back every single Saturday night for church on Sunday. Then I’d fly out, sometimes right after church or that Monday, and be gone the whole week. That was 2021 and a lot of 2022—for a year and a half, it was literally every single week, except for three weeks. That was my schedule. And on top of that, I wrote my very first book. I wrote 95 percent of that book on the plane; sometimes cramped up, sometimes with headphones in as people were talking beside me. But I was able to do it. My capacity was stretched so much! I could never have imagined that this schedule was possible, especially without burnout. But I had joy, no burnout! And I had a strength and energy I had never experienced before.

Before 2021, for four and a half years, I was home 90 percent of the time. I ministered in the park or in a building to just a handful of people in our church. And almost overnight, God was ready to take us to new heights, wildly! Everything changed.

That’s going to keep on happening in this move of God! We are going to new heights this year, so God is going to be asking you to do more for Him; asking you, “Will you do more for me? Will you allow me to stretch your capacity?”

Say yes!

And I’m telling you, on the other side you will think, “How is this possible?” But if you actually step in and just obey God, you’ll be amazed at how supernaturally He stretches your capacity.

There are seasons when God is calling you to work hard and long hours for Him, but He gives you the capacity to do it. You find your rest in Him! You find your Sabbath in Him! You still take breaks and rest as He leads you, but I’m telling you—I speak from experience—there are seasons when you will think, “More, God? Really? More?” And He says, Yes! And then He shocks you with the capacity he has increased!

We have to do something to go higher. It’s God’s wind that takes us, but we have to lift our arms and catch the wind. We have to get ready to go faster, to do more. God will call you to do more for Him! Get ready!

It’s time right now to get ready to go higher. Get ready to sow more, to contribute more, to do more. Are you ready to go higher?
