This message was released by Apostle Kathryn Krick Lead Pastor/ Apostle of 5F Church in Los Angeles, CA on April 14, 2024. 1 John 4:4  (speaking to every child of God)

Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world. 

We have overcome the devil, demons, and all powers of darkness because Jesus in us is FAR GREATER than the devil who is in the world. This is the truth. We are victors. This is the truth whether you choose to believe it or not.

So why should you fear anything? Why should you ever fear any kind of attack? You shouldn’t! Because God is so much greater, the devil can never win as long as you choose to believe this truth.

Matthew 5:14-16

Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.

You become one with God, so you become the light as Jesus is the light, so Jesus calls us the light of the world!

John 1:5

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

You shine in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it - you have overcome the darkness & the devil always, not the other way around! This is our truth! Hallelujah!

When the sun comes out, you don’t even think of the darkness being there still.. that the stars are still there or something…even though they are there, you don’t think about it because the daytime completely overcomes the night. During the day you can run in dangerous places that you wouldn’t run in at night and not be afraid. It’s the same circumstances but you’re not thinking about it. All you think about it is light!

This is how our lives should be, we should constantly be focused on Jesus and how we have victory. We shouldn’t be thinking “oh the devil is around, he might attack me today” No. Our minds should not ever be to darkness! It’s a waste of time because we have overcome. It’s like being in the daytime and talking about the night… It's a waste of time.

Let’s not give the devil the time of day - we are children of the light! Don’t give him any space in your mind, it’s a waste of time and makes our light to not be as bright.

Don’t be afraid of darkness EVER!

People put their focus too much on the enemy… making him more powerful than he really is… spending their lives unnecessarily afraid…when really the truth is he is defeated and he has no power — if you don’t give him any power!

The power God has is SO MUCH GREATER than the power the devil has, his power is so tiny compared to Gods. He is only powerful if you give him power - that’s the only way. Jesus returned the authority to us!

If someone sells themselves to the devil then the devil will be very powerful in their life, but that is their choice!! The devil will also have some power over lukewarm Christian’s life but that is also their choice. BUT the devil has no power over people who are completely surrendered to Jesus!! So it is up to you completely, the devil doesn’t need to have any power over you! You can live your life not thinking about him ever. Even if an attack comes… you reject it…half a second.. and move on. Don’t even put your eyes fully to it! Put your eyes to Jesus and keep moving.

Attacks will come because the devil is allowed to form weapons but they will not prosper if you don’t let them. He comes to tempt BUT he knows he doesn’t have the power to force you to do anything… he can only suggest and see if you will say yes, that’s how you give the devil power. He knows that’s the only chance he has.

Weapons formed against us will be mostly temptation, to disobey, to doubt, to not have faith. But we can reject and he must flee. That’s a law. We can walk in assurance and confidence that yeah attacks will come but none will prosper. God has given me more than enough strength and wisdom to resist every attack, therefore none will prosper. Live in this mindset of victory and confidence and peace and no fear!

We see in Matthew 4:1 Jesus was led BY the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be TEMPTED! Why? Because we have to be refined to bring the transformation, to be like Jesus, that’s the only way. God is more than OK to bring us through refining fire!

The devil tempted, but Jesus had victory and said no. The devil twisted the word of God, and Jesus kept winning, knowing the word of God better.

In Luke 4:13 we see the devil left temporarily and would look for a more opportune time (a better time to plan to come back where he wouldn’t be wasting his time). This is how it is with us - once in a while the devil tries to bring temptation, but not every day. When you’re strong in faith he doesn’t even try, so he waits for a more opportune times (a time of weakness) but God will make sure you are equipped and ready to have victory in the next battle! The devil will then flee again! He won’t mess with you most days because if you’re truly surrendered then you will be too strong, and the devil will be wasting his time. He can try and try and try but he’d be wasting his time… he’s not omnipotent like God.. he doesn’t have an unlimited amount of demons to attack all people all the time. He can’t be everywhere all the time. So when you are strong, the devil is not messing with you most of the time!

This life is a victorious life, that is not affected by the devil that much. It should never be bringing you down, that it feels like you’re losing, that you’re just consumed by what the devil’s doing. No. If you can be surrendered and strong in faith your life will be victorious every day. Just from time to time, you deal with a battle but it’s not a bad thing because the Holy Spirit wants you to have that battle so you don’t need to dread it and be upset when it happens… you can have this right perspective and you know this is God's will for me, He is allowing this attack to promote me and so I can become more like Jesus!

This life with Jesus of victory and joy and protection and peace is only for children of God! No other religion! You need to really believe what I’m speaking. Live this truth and that’s when you see this victory. The devil needs to see you are strong. You want to be left alone? Have faith.

Romans 12:3 

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

We’ve been given a measure of faith. You are not supposed to stay with the measure of faith He has given you.. it’s supposed to grow into strong huge faith! Many people stay with the measure of faith God has given them.

There are believers who have weak faith, and believers that have strong faith.

Romans 14:2

One man’s faith permits him to eat everything, while the weak believer eats only vegetables [to avoid eating ritually unclean meat or something previously considered unclean].

People with strong faith can live free and eat everything, those with weak faith are living paranoid and in too much fear, without the revelation of God's grace and stuck in religion. They are missing out on good food God wants them to enjoy!

Obviously we aren’t going to eat food from witches or something trying to manipulate us - need wisdom and discernment but food at a restaurant or family and friends is all clean!

People with weak faith aren’t living a full abundant life of victory. A weak faith is doubtful, thinks the devil is following them everywhere, giving the devil too much attention. Devil isn’t anywhere near them but they are thinking he is.

Attacks do come but we don’t need to freak out. You don’t need to dwell on a thought from the devil. Speak the truth that is opposite of the lie and move on. Wake up from a bad dream? reject it, and go on with your day. Don’t need to dwell on it. “Oh the devil is attacking me, I wonder what this means! Did the demons come back?” No, it’s just a bad dream.

Too many people giving too much attention to the devil. As a man thinketh, so he is. (Proverbs 23:7). Make the choice to have strong faith!

A weak faith will be so paranoid sometimes thinking they need to put oil everywhere or sleep with a Bible.

A strong faith does not stagger and it does not hesitate, a strong faith moves forward in the face of attack and fear. It doesn’t let fear overtake them but moves forward and keeps doing what God called them to do. It doesn’t worry. It’s so strong. It faces the enemy and has victory. A strong faith knows who they are in Christ, knows they have a guardian angel and spiritual protection and knows the God of the universe lives in them! Strong faith knows who they are! This is who I am and I know who is with me and who is one with me - so I have nothing to fear.

Matthew 8:26 

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Don’t let the storm consume you with fear! The disciples could’ve followed Jesus’s example and rested and chose not to worry at all. Jesus was in the boat with them!

1 Peter 5:8 

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour

The devil can smell weak faith. If you have strong faith, the devil isn’t going to mess with you. You can live every day with your eyes on Jesus doing what He called you to do, but if you have weak faith he can smell it and you become prey. But when you’re strong he doesn’t even mess with you because it’s a waste of time. (Just time to time, opportune times, but he still loses). If you’re weak, you may find he’s attacking you a lot. He keeps smelling the weakness.

Majority of the time the devil is after weak in faith people. Strong faith sees the mountain and says mountain you must move and the devil is terrified! Doesn’t even want to waste his time.

The devil knows fear is the enemy of faith so he will suggest fear in the mind and knows that’s how he can win.

Understand how dangerous fear is to faith. Reject the lie and renew your mind. There is never any reason to fear!!!!

The lack of spiritual sight and understanding spiritual principles/ laws has made people to be blind and unaware of how tiny the devil's power is. They know the devil is out there but they don’t know where and they don’t know how he works, or the schemes and strategies or the boundaries and laws in the spiritual realm. They are blind and don’t know where it’s safe to walk so therefore they are living in fear.

This is the importance of the prophetic ministry and to go from milk to meat, and how important it is for your spiritual eyes to opened up so you don’t live like that anymore and you really know how the devil operates.

Spiritual law of territory — the devil is not allowed to have territory anywhere! He has it in some places (ex. house party/club - where demonic things take place) the devil has authority to do what he wants there so we know not to go to those places because of what’s going on there…so it’s disobedience and stepping outside of the will of God when we go to a place like that. Going to a place like that is going against His word and disobeying and stepping out of His grace of protection. It’s stepping into the domain of the devil. If a believer decides to go there, then everything else above ^^ that Apostle taught goes out the window. Because you are stepping into his territory…it’s like the action of biting into the apple and giving the devil power and authority over you.

When you step into physical demonic places then you’re not going to be safe spiritually because of the devils authority there. BUT he is not allowed to have authority just anywhere. When it comes to neutral public spaces (hotels, train stations, planes) the devil doesn’t have domain at those places.

When you get on a train or plane, the person that sat in the seat before you could’ve been a witch and casted a spell on that seat, but when you go on that seat it’s SANCTIFIED! Because of who we are in Jesus! The devil isn’t allowed to have territory anywhere! it doesn’t matter how evil the person in the chair was before you, nothing will happen to you! It’s anointed as you sit on it! Where you go, that becomes your authority and domain. Same thing for hotel rooms, so many people were in the bed before you! But when you get into the room - it is sanctified, all demons leave as soon as you enter!

We have heavenly security!!!!

Presidents have security and protocols before they are walked into their hotel room. Maybe someone is hiding in their hotel room so security needs to go in and check and make sure it’s safe before the president enters. That’s how it is in the spiritual realm for us with angels that surround us! Before we go into a hotel room, the heavenly security is there and making sure any demonic presence is gone. Simply because of who we are in Christ!

Whether you’re in your room, hotel, a plane, you can have the same level of intimacy with Jesus. Apostle Kathryn wrote the majority of her book on an airplane. The presence of God goes with us!

Many people are not having this revelation! We are the light in the darkness! There is not a competition! Some people are praying praying praying for the darkness to leave when they get to a hotel room but it’s not there! It left when you came!

When you are like a general in the Kingdom of God confronting the powers of darkness you need more protection and security because you are making the devil even more mad by confronting and destroying his kingdom. Just like governors and presidents, they need more security. But you never have to fear, because the more anointed you are, the more heavenly security you have. You are given this heavenly security according to what you need, you’re never lacking!

Wherever you go, your authority is there. People do extra religious ritualistic things because they don’t understand authority.

Peter just walked by and his shadow healed people, he knew who he was so much. He knew the principle of authority. His authority was already being executed without saying anything.

When we step into this church building, it’s sanctified!

We should never be distracted by the darkness. We should never be thinking “idk if there’s demons around me” no! We are being distracted by darkness when it’s not even there. It’s daytime! It’s LIGHT! The light has overcome!

Wherever the cloud goes (we are following the cloud) so wherever the cloud is resting, it removes all of the darkness, because the presence of God is here with us! Amen!

1 Peter 1:5

Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time.

THROUGH OUR FAITH! Mighty power of God guarding us! If we will have strong faith!

When you are praying and talking with God, some people are thinking if the devil is listening. When you are free, there are no demons that are listening. The devil is never following you and listening. That’s the importance of the anointing and being free so you don’t have demons bothering you and tormenting you. But once you are free, the devil is not following you. He can only be in one place at one time. He cannot read your thoughts. He cannot listen to you talk. He can send demons but not when you’re surrendered to God and free. You’re protected. They are not allowed to just chill with you and follow you and listen to you.

BE FREE TO PRAY TO GOD! Don’t be thinking about the devil! Think only about Jesus! The devil isn’t there!

POWERFUL PRINCIPLE: when you speak words of death, these words become on the same frequency of the devil. Like a radio frequency. So you attract him and invite him in.

One of the ways to open doors to demons is by speaking death. If you start confessing negative things, (I’ll stay in poverty forever, i can’t do this, i hate myself), the devil can hear because you’re speaking on his frequency. And so he is attracted and you become that prey. He can hear and smell the weakness. The negative talk frequency that he’s tuned into all the time.

As long as you're not speaking negative things you’re not supposed to be speaking to God, you don’t have to worry about the devil listening in. Even if the enemy was to hear you speaking to God how you’re supposed to speak, it’s no harm to you because it’s proving your strength and faith, making the devil not want to mess with you because he sees how strong you are.

It’s not spiritually mature to say all your feelings to God. The devil influences our feelings many times and it won’t help us feel closer to God, we need to grow stronger than this. It’s inviting the enemy in. We can’t please God without faith. We should want to speak words that make Him proud. Instead of saying “God I feel so overwhelmed” we should say “God I thank you for your strength thank you for helping me overcome everything I’m going through right now, God I need you!” Confess positively. Saying “God I need you” is the truth, it is a positive confession. It’s not saying “I can't do this”.

Whenever you pray to God, speaking words of death and complaining and saying negative feelings should not be a part of our vocabulary. When you speak this, it only brings harm, makes the devil hear, see your weakness and it doesn’t please God.

May we be encouraged to take complaining and negative talk out of vocabulary completely. May we see the seriousness of this and the beauty of speaking life and what it leads to — victory and peace and joy and pleasing God! Hallelujah!

We are called to be the light in the darkness in the workplace. How will seeds be planted? How will souls be saved? We need to be out there to shine our light!

Sometimes people are so afraid of the devil in their workplace “oh this is going to affect me, it’s going to drain me” totally missing the revelation that you have overcome the darkness! We are called to shine in the darkness! God actually wants us there to reach His people! This is your assignment! Not all assignments are going to be fun…. Have to go through refining fire.

One of the biggest areas of the refining fire is loving difficult people. This is the biggest characteristic of Jesus, and the main thing we are called to. It doesn’t happen naturally, being confined to only believers. God wants you out in the world many times to be the light and plant seeds and give you the opportunity to love people that aren’t easy to love.

When you say yes to be this way, that’s when the fruits of the spirit start to form in your life. It doesn’t come automatically — it comes when God gives you an opportunity to be kind and gentle and love your enemies and you choose out of obedience to do it, that then gives God the permission to put His hand on your heart and mold it into something it wasn’t prior to that day and develop the fruits of the spirit! So you need to go out there to shine and to be refined.

There will be seasons God is calling you to be out there to shine your light and be refined in not ideal job situations. (there are exceptions when a job is too toxic, walk with wisdom). God will give you the strength and grace and you’re completely protected and God will use you powerfully and refine you through it.

We have to show the world how powerful our God is and how weak the devil is. We have a responsibility. And this happens through our strong faith. I challenge you to renew your mind with this truth & that you wouldn’t go to old patterns & that you will not be afraid of the devil ever again. May we take this seriously. It’s a big responsibility. It’s a life of peace and joy and victory!

I declare all of these past ways you were afraid of the devil, wrong doctrine, the mindset of fear, to come out of you! Be free now to live in victory and peace with Jesus!

You will be able to shine brighter than ever now! This week is a week of victory and strength. A week of faith like never before. Today marks a significant day for many of you! God has opened your eyes and freed you from this fearful weak Christian life and it’s brought you into a victorious life of a true child of God who knows who they are! This week, you will see yourself differently and for who you really are. You are so loved by God. He is so proud of you and has great plans for you this week and every day of your life! May you have this revelation, knowing who you are, that God loves me and has great plans for me! Because He loves me but also because He wants to do powerful things through my life. 

I speak your intimacy with God to increase this week as your eyes turn away from the devil and his lies completely and your eyes look to Jesus more than ever. May you have more revelation of who Jesus is and His love this week. May you have true authority and victory everywhere you go and may your light shine so bright. 

I release this anointing upon you all, may the fire of the Holy Spirit come upon you and may your light increase. May the power of God in you increase so that even more of His power moves through you to touch people. 

This week your light will shine brighter than ever in Jesus name. His kingdom is advancing this week at a greater level through you in Jesus name! Receive abundant peace and joy and victory! In Jesus name!
